Pros: everything was great except for the pool
Cons: the pool
Location: excellent location
very poor pool but excellent service shuttle to airport bagged breakfast, we left a 3:30am, was great great location

Pros: Clean and friendly
Cons: Breakfast was just so so.
Only used Hampton Inn for just an overnight stay. I will say that the Hampton Inn was clean and all staff were very friendly and helpful. It was after hours but they even opened up the gift shop so we could buy some souvenirs.

One night stay San Jose airport

Pros: Convenient location close to airport. Shuttle bus services.
Cons: Make sure the pool speaker turned off at night!
Two 1 night stays - one on arrival, one before departure back to UK. Shuttle bus transfers work well although had no info about where to pick it up on arrival. Hotel comfortable and clean. A bit of noise from pool speaker the first night so had a room round the back on the second night. Good breakfast. Hotel staff helpful. Free shuttle bus out for an evening meal to local restaurant area worked well or there's a cheap 'PolloRosti' in walking distance. However it wouldn't work if you want to nip into San Jose itself as it's quite a way from the city centre.

everything you need, right next to SJO

Location is perfect, next door to car rental for easy pick up and drop off. Hotel has everything you want and need for a comfortable, easy, and extremely friendly arrival or departure from SJO. This staff has a market on their smile and ability to make you smile.

Pros: Usually a good place to stay. Seems to have slipped some from past years.
Cons: Kept cleaner. Breakfast bar in the past was excellent. Very average now.
Placed in a handicapped room. Room had weird musty smell. Grouting in bathroom dirty. View from window was obscured by hotel's façade. Room should be used for storage.

Great overnight stay and Shuttle to airport

Helped to get oriented get taxis even gave us an early morning breakfast bag. Pick up at airport was efficient

Very convenient location for the airport. Buffet breakfast good value. Noisy train goes by just before 6:00a.m.
