It's a VERY GOOD DEAL for the price, I'm saying that having stayed around San Jose in different properties for a week. The best part are the staff: specifically Neidis Chavez and Melissa - very professional and very eager to help. So is the gentleman, I just didn't get his name. Also LOVED the free COFFEE, WATER and TEA. I do recommend it.

For the price, the hotel is a good value: only two blocks from bus to Liberia and Guanacaste region, very close to the Coca Cola terminal and shopping area as well. There are a few simple eateries next door and taxies often pass by, so great location for central San José. Room is good, has toiletries that I didn't expect like shampoo, clean. Bed is a bit too soft for me, nice hot water unit for shower, especially during cold December night. Bed also came with comforter because no one has heating, especially hotels at this price range! It helped! My only complaint would be the noice, you can hear pretty much everything when others speak. Thankfully, other guests were respectful enough to not make much noise at night, but early morning you can hear the conversations of those coming and going. Traffic outside is not so loud, but inside noise is easy to pick up.oh, breakfast was included. Despite the noice, I would still recommend the hotel for it's location and overall value.

You get what you pay for. Nice staff but paper thin walls. A lot of noise at night and heavy trucks rumbling outside. Very small rooms. Sketchy hot water.

We didn't have a fridge, we ask for one never get it, no microwave, the bathroom, room was way too small and smells, and breakfast was terrible.
