Looks great, but too many issues.

We booked this hotel on our last night in Costa Rica. We thought it was close enough to the airport, however still allowed us to experience a few more sights. The airport was reasonably close at 20 minutes.
We dropped off our bags and went to dinner at the Hotel. The initial service was quick and pleasant, however the staff seemed to disappear. Our food took forever to come out. When it did, the chicken was cooked, but lukewarm. We were so hungry by this point that we ate it anyway. No one returned to see if we needed anything, including a beverage re-fill. We sat at our table for a very long time before having to go to the front to get our bill. We weren't in a huge rush, and have previously enjoyed the more laid back nature in Costa Rica, however the wait time was quite excessive.
Our room looked fantastic and had a lot of amenities. We were excited about the rainfall shower head and sleep number bed. However, upon our return from dinner, we found two cockroaches! It was disgusting. The bathroom had a hand towel holder that was barely hanging on. Due to the cockroach issue, we slept with the lights on.
We were very disappointed as this was the only chain we had stayed at during our trip, and it was by far the worst of our trip.
