I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it’s always been clean and a good value compared to some others in San Jose. But this time, after riding a motorcycle from Parrita through the mountains to Puriscal and finally to San Jose, I was hot, dusty and dirty. When I asked the lady at reception for the remote control for the A/C, I was told “sorry, you booked through Expedia and that rate does not include A/C for that room.” I went back and reviewed my Expedia reservation and it does not say the room has no A/C. So for this poor review, I blame Expedia’s lack of transparency more than the hotel.
