Nice Staff

the a/c in our room didn't work very well. we contacted the from desk and they sent some up and since it couldn't be fixed, they moved us and upgraded our room and were great to work with.

Great place and close to the airport

Staff and hotel are great we lived our stay there. Comfortable beds! Stayed there when we arrived and again the night before we left Costa Rica ... close to airport

Nice but not worth the price.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and always seemed to want to help.
Cons: A maintenance budget would be great. As the property could be first rate if some money was spent in the upkeep.
Location: Hard Rock, souvenir shop, local shopping mall.
I was expecting a Wyndham like I would visit in the states. This one seemed pretty old and not kept up very well. I mean it was clean but not maintained very well. For example the ice machines where missing from the wing of the hotel I was in. Mold in the bathrooms. Paint chipping the in hall ways. I would advise finding a new property in Costa Rica when looking for a hotel.

close to highway

Close to highway and the Hard Rock is right next to this hotel...the room was clean and neat as well as the entire hotel. Breakfast was included and it was a good value for the money...large buffet with plenty of choices.

Low Carbon Footprint

Pros: For me, at that point in time, I was really happy to have sushi and a really great bed.
Cons: The Spa needs an overhaul on treatments, attitude and with all the English speaking tourists, a little English would be good.
Location: Very close to the airport, free shuttle service.
Terrific staff, always there for any stupid question you have and walk with you to make sure you get where you need to be. And a sushi restaurant!! It was amazing. The rooms and beds were comfortable and quiet. The open floor plan was perfect, even during an exciting thunderstorm. Huge pool. Good food in the bar and smoke free. Very impressed with the information provided in the room guide about the steps they take to lower the carbon footprint. It should have been at the front of the book. Most people probably did not even see it. Most tourists are eco tourists and would probably book this hotel based just on this information. My only disappointment was the spa staff. Poor attitude. Adjustments should be made to allow same day scheduling for those laying over for a flight. And the client should not be left alone in the treatment rooms for long periods of time. Don't forget to notice the onyx reception. Amazing.

Everything is close from Hotel. Watch for traffic.

We stayed here for 4 days and will recommend this hotel. Good customer service, clean, beautiful pool even though wet bar is always close only for special occasions, close from central San Jose and central Heredia. There is a shopping center in front called Real Cariari,you can shop and watch a movie, fresh market is close, the hard Rock is on walking distance, good Japanese restaurant, there's a small casino, hotel food is good, we had room service and loved their pizza wish we've known sooner, spacious room and the price wasn't bad, free parking and as I mentioned is clean.

Casino on site

Pros: Location & staff.
Cons: Noise & ability to adjust temperature in the room.
Location: Food, church, gambling nearby.
We used the free airport shuttle and had a very nice driver. Hotel has a Casino, Sakura and Hard Rock Café on site. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. My only complaint is - noise. The walls are thin, we could hear doors opening and shutting and lots of conversations in the hallway. There were younger visitors that kept running up and down the halls until around 9PM (Yes, I know this sounds early, but we had a 4AM flight to catch the next day). Then around 2AM the older (drunk) visitors decided that we had enough sleep and needed to be woken up, so they proceeded to sing and talk very loud. * Also, we were unable to adjust the A/C - as we were hoping to drown out noise.

Went there and front desk people available but not friendly at all; the hotel is nice; just elevator was broken.

Nice Hotel, good location close to everything. Good food at the restaurant, Friendly staff just one girl on the front desk it wasn't to helpful.
