All right Service

When walking in to the Hotel building you realize the hotel is dirty, poorly maintenance. Surprisingly the rooms are clean. It is ridiculous to charge a $13.00 for all day parking within the hotel premises on top of your hotel fees. I asked for towels and an extra body lotion that were never delivered to the room. I woul not stay there EVER AGAIN!

Convenient to airport

Staff is not friendly or helpful. I was given a key that demagnetized, so I had to go back down to the front desk (7 floors). The staff person took my key back and gave me another. Because she didn't say anything to the contrary, I assumed I was just given a new key. Back I went to the seventh floor, where the key still did not work. Back down I went to the front desk, only to discover that she had given me another room on a different floor. She never offered this information, and while she was not hostile, she was not friendly or welcoming, nor did she apologize for the inconvenience. Staff person at the restaurant was very unclear on the menu. Even though I pointed out by showing her on the menu that I had a choice of side dishes with what I ordered, she insisted I could only have fries. I finally gave up. Staff seemed unhappy and unconcerned with making guests feel welcome. Room was poorly lit and the light switches, heating a/c, and bathroom faucet were all either too fussy and confusing or inconveniently placed. Room was clean; common areas also clean. Convenient location to airport is the draw.

We appreciate your comments and have taken them seriously. We apologize for the keys not working. Sometimes the keys do demagnetize being near cell phones or credit cards. We have spoken to the agent who had given you the wrong room. She has read the information and trained to be more cautious. In regards to the restaurant incident. I have also spoken to the restaurant manager. He will also be training the employee closely. Thank you,

Decent hotel, bad location, no food!

The hotel itself is decent. When I arrived the water was turned off which delayed check in. The area around the hotel is sketchy, not the safest neighborhood. My biggest complaint is no food! No restaurant, no room service and no food nearby the hotel.

In regards to your comments about food, we do have a restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner. We serve lunch at the lobby bar. In addition, we have room service that is available until 10pm at night. In addition to these food options on site, we have 3 restaurants within 100 yards of the hotel. Just OK

Pros: Nothing really stands out
Cons: Better attention to your customers.
Location: The location is seedy at best
I am a frequent business traveler to San Jose. I think my room was noisy, and reasonable clean. The hotel staff needs to be more attentive to its customers. I put my breakfast order on my door, and it was never taken or fulfilled.

only negative experience was that the pool was not heated enough for a human [polar bears probably okay]and no towels provided there; i asked for some but none were provided, though the staff member called and made a request promptly. Cafe provided good food, exceptionally friendly staff. Decor was pleasant, furnishings comfortable.

Safe surrounding, and easy access to freeways

Pros: location to areas that I needed to visit
Cons: I was satisfied with my room no need for improvement
Location: I will probably seek logging at this hotel the next time I visit San Jose
Comfortable room and amenities, great view. Outstanding cafeteria. Tthe employees were very friendly and helpful

have to pay extra for parking that fills up fast

could have been better, had to pay 13 dollars extra for parking that was full when we returned. also someone decided to pull a fire alarm at 1AM. NOT COOL! I know the hotel had no control over this but we didn't get any information or compensation for the rude awakining.

While we do have ample parking for our guests, there are times when our parking lot is full due to a large event taking place at the hotel. During times like this, we do have specific parking spots that are reserved for our guests. A Very Nice Hotel

This is one of the better Holiday Inns that I have stayed at. It was clean and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly. I will stay stay at this hotel again.
