Stay after great America

Posted Jun 3, 2017
I reserved this room one month in advance and when I got there they had decided to give my room to some white men who wanted to extend their stay instead of giving them another room me and my kids and grandkids had to have two separate rooms instead of the three queens I reserved then they charged my card before they told me my room wasnt available

We do our best to accommodate all guest requests, and we are sorry that in this case, we did not succeed. Please know that we treat all guests equally, and do not provide preferential treatment to anyone. This was simply a miscommunication with our front desk staff and our reservation system. Continental breakfast was cheap way of serving. They charge for car parking on property while stay there. It is uncalled for. I have been traveled most of the places in US & OVERSEAS. This one was uncalled for. Room were ok nor that good. Never recommend for any my friends or foes.

Unsafe and Dirty

Posted May 3, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Door locks; at least change the old bed covers; thoroughly clean the carpets, bathroom and vanity
Location: There is a good Korean bakery right across the street. You could see big companies nearby like Apple, FB, Google, Yahoo, Lockheed, Levi's stadium, etc
You're gonna be half awake because you'll constantly worry about your safety. The room door opens directly to the parking lot. For a room that is easily accessed from the outside, it was unforgivable that the locks couldn't be closed all the way. My family had to push the desk and chair in front of the door for added safety. Also, for the price, it's unmaintained and very dirty. Other hotels in the area are of the same price range but the quality of the rooms are not even close to Hotel E Real.

Had to pay addition $10 to park

Posted Apr 28, 2017
Pros: The good thing is that there of plenty of other places to stay besides this place.
Cons: Just about everything....
The parking lot was full when we arrived, so I asked the manager if there was any space, for $10 dollars cash he "found" a spot. I had a long day at work and was in for another and went to sleep around 10:00 PM. I was awoken at 10:45 PM by two people who decided to have in argument in front of my door. After I fell back asleep, I was awoken again to two ladies who were fighting in the parking lot. It was bad enough the police were called, flashing lights and all. All this on a Wednesday night, so much for a good night sleep.

Deposit money if you don't use your credit card! Ridiculous!

Thank you for providing feedback after your recent stay at HOTEL EREAL. Like most hotels, we do require a credit card for incidental charges at check-in. If you choose to use a debit card, it will place a hold for a predetermined amount. That amount will be released upon check-out if you do not incur any incidental charges. We want to apologize if that was not communicated effectively at check-in. We understand the hold placed on a debit card can be troublesome which is why we recommend using a credit card. Again, we apologize for not making that clear at check-in and we hope this didn't take away from your trip to Santa Clara!
