This hotel is convenient if you're staying in the Palo Alto/Mountain View/Stanford area.
The hotel was woefully understaffed (and probably overworked) - check in took forever because there was one person working with customers for both check in and check out, even though there were 3 "work stations."
The hotel is an old Holiday Inn - you can tell by the sign up front that's been painted over . . . And that is an indication of what & how the hotel keeps up the property. The room was outdated with worn carpets (actual pieces of fabric sticking out), patches of almost-the-right color paint throughout, and an old (small) tv.
My room didn't have a "do not disturb" door hanger, there was 1.25 rolls of toilet paper, an almost empty box of tissues, no ice tub, and no cups.
The biggest problem with our stay was that the AC was out - it just circulated warm air. =( It was't repaired until late the next day which made for a long night and a room we couldn't use for most of the next day . . .
