Remodeling, but still comfortable.

Posted Jul 23, 2016
It's obvious there's new energy going into this small motel + the friendly and helpful staff make up for the remodeling of some of the rooms. The AC worked well and the rooms comfortable. This is a very nice reasonably priced hotel.

Good value and access to Marin County sights

Posted Jul 14, 2016
Pros: Great access to redwoods and beaches and convenient shopping center and grocery store. Nice but reasonable rates.
Cons: Cooling depends on opening windows at night and hoping it doesn't get too hot during the day. There was a weird fan, to which ice could be added.
Location: Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Sausalito, wine country, all less than an hour away.
Nice roomy suite with little dining area and kitchen, family clientele, could have used an air conditioner.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Room was in the process of being remodeled, but was still nice. Bed was comfortable.

Dear Joe, it is unlike our staff to be rude and inattentive, and I am so sorry that was the case. I will be sure to bring this up with them so it doesn't happen again. We aim to provide quality stay for our guests, and we understand that top notch customer service is important part of it. We sincerely hope you'll give us another opportunity. Thanks again, Joe.

Rooms smell of mold. Staff argumentative.

Rooms smell of mold. Staff argumentative. This hotel was probably built in the 1940s. They are refurbishing the bathrooms. The AC/Heater is not controllable by the guest although it appears that is it. This hotel feels like a $49 a night hotel.
