Very Nice Hotel, a Bit Off the Beaten Path

The Plaza Suites appears to be an older hotel, but it has clearly been renovated and has all the modern conveniences. It is located on a frontage road by the 101 Freeway and is easy to miss despite its size. The outdoor area is clean and easily navigated with plenty of free parking.
Inside, the lobby is open and inviting, with a friendly and attentive staff behind the counter. I arrived a bit early but they had a room ready. The suite is really a suite! The front room is clean and open, quite large really with a couch, chair and desk. The bedroom is cozy but more than large enough, plenty of dresser spade and a good sized closet complete with an ironing board, iron and real hangers. (Its kind of nice when they don't seem to be worried about guests stealing the hangers!)
Both the bedroom and the living room have large flat screen televisions. The bathroom area is "very cozy", but it had plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion. They also had a shower cap, shoe shine cloth and a makeup remover towlette. There is an adequately stocked coffee maker that includes tea and creamer, along with spoons and napkins. They also offer bottled water, but its a bit pricey. The tap water quality is excellent, so you really don't need to purchase your water in bottles.
