Perfect location to Stanford

The room was very clean, but could use some updating. Shower door did not close properly. Didn't like the placement of the bed right next to the air conditioning unit, it blew cold air right on that person layin on that side of the bed.

Pros: Very reasonable rates; we had appointments at Stanford hospital; needed a one night stay.
Room was clean, renovated, right on the El Camino, 2 miles from the Stanford Hospital. Bed was comfortable, Many chocies for breakfast; muffins, toast, bagels, instand oatmeal, orange juice, lots of fruit and coffe. We would stay there again.

Outside looks a little rough. Rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. We lived the plush bedding. Air conditioning and heating system were wonderful and efficient. Wonderful staff. We'd stay here again if we needed to return to the area.

Location, location, location. That's all

You would think that, for the price, this would be better than your average Travelodge. Well, it's not. Well, maybe a little. But not enough. The only good thing about it is that it's right next to a really nice Indonesian/ fusion restaurant.

Cheap for a Reason

Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: I would suggest management go through each room and do a thorough quality check of electrical, plumbing, and security.
Location: Lots of places to eat and hang out.
Although the price was attractive for this facility, upon checking into my room, I was disappointed by a number of things. I expected a no-frills experience as the price was so low and Travel Lodge is more of an economy brand. Unfortunately, I do expect the room to have a minimum of working security features. Half of the security latch on the door was missing. I was not too worried as this is a pretty good neighborhood. Also, the microwave would not work. After troubleshooting, the plug was not functioning. I had to pull the lamp over from the nightstand to use it as an extension.

Hello Don, Thank you for staying with us and more importantly providing us feedback that helps up improve our guests experience.We do have both of the security features a chain latch as well as a dead bolt lock as per required.Also whole room electricity is controlled by the switch right next to the door and a label stating the same is also there on the wall next to the mirror in each and every room.I wish a single phone call to the front desk also would have been suffice to figure this things out. The good and the very bad of staying here...

Pros: The mattress was comfortable.
Cons: Get the bugs out of the hotels (fleas...). Be more selective about the behavior of hotel guests (loudness, rudeness...).
Location: The location is prime.
The bed at this hotel was actually very comfortable. It probably had some sort of foam topper which beats the floor hard firmness of most all neighboring hotels. I left this hotel, however, with several bug bites --- notably fleas. My stay was only from about 10PM until 4AM the following day. The neighbors allowed into this hotel were the other major problem and despite being told I was in a quiet room, there were doors slamming at all hours of the night! I didn't use the shower and I was quite happy about that because it didn't look at all inviting, safe or sanitary. The TV worked fine and the location is, of course, great!
