Hotel was nice. Close to the beach. New Years week

Hotel was nice. Clean. Housekeeper was excellent. One elevator broken during our 5 day stay made for long lines at the elevator. Taxes and fees were high and added on and above a pricey room rate. Quite overpriced for Puerto Rico. Good food at reasonable prices minutes walk from hotel. Hotel food overpriced and crowded.

Cons: The activities that they organize.
The only problem with us, was that the activity of New Year Eve was no well organized, my mon of 90 years was without a chair in the activity and nobody in the staff found her one. Only is we buy something to eat or drink, we can get a table to my mon. That was very frustrating to us that especial night and we are client of a suite in the hotel for four days.

Great hotel

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole facility was much nicer than I was expecting. Love the bathrooms which looked recently renovated with waterfall showers and high end fixtures

Needs a major remodel

Rooms need to be remodeled, paint fresh, needs to get back to what it use to be.

Excellent Hotel right on a beautifully beach

La Concha has been totally restored and upgraded since the hurricane. In fact if you didn’t know of the hurricane you would not know anything happened. The facilities were clean and upscale, the staff friendly and efficient, the food was excellent, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The beach is exceptional with lovely sand and accompanied by sea side pools and accommodations. A definite must stay!

Terrible!!!

We got their early and they told us our room would be on the priority list for cleaning and they would hopefully have it ready for us around noon. They took my cell number and said they would call me. At 2:00, still no call. A different woman reconfirmed my phone number and said it was still on the priority clean list and hopefully another hour but a guaranteed time of 4:00. 4:00, my husband goes to check on it. They said another 15 minutes. 4:35, we finally get a call saying it’s ready. We then spend 15 minutes waiting in line to get the key. I ask the man what he can do to compensate for this continuous misinformation. He proceeded to tell me no one should have even told us we could have gotten checked in early. But he did give us a $50 discount for being past 4:00 which he didn’t argue. Remind you, we are paying substantially more to stay here instead of The Ritz. While waiting for our room we sat by the pool. The music was so loud my husband and I could barely talk to each other while sitting right next to each other. We had to go get food menus from the pool staff and then track them down again for food. They seemed to prioritize the wedding party across the pool deck versus anyone else. Once checked in, we’re were told our bags were on their way up to the room. 45 minutes later the bags arrived. This usually takes about 15 minutes. I’d assume this took so long because one of the elevators was broken. It was also broken a week ago when we stayed here. This place sucked!
