Well located hotel near airport and beach

This is the second time I have stayed at TRYP--they have improved their parking and service. They are well located near Isla Verde Beach and close to the airport (but not noisy). They need to replace a few roof tiles due to the recent hurricane, but otherwise are fine.

after two weeks sending messages without answers. They just cancelled the reservation and didnñt give any alternative.

We are very sorry to read about your experience but as you may know unfortunately in the wake of hurricane Maria our Island has suffered severe, if not total damages. We were completely uncommunicated (as fas as phone lines and electricity, we have WiFi at the hotel because we were able to re-launch the backup generator) for several weeks. This made it impossible to contact our futures guests and inform them that while assessing the damage in our property the hotel had to cancel all reservations and is not taking any new ones until further notice. No fees are being charged and we are reimbursing all cancelled reservations. We truly apologize for the inconveniences you may have experience as a result of this natural disaster. However, we’ll work together to come back from this even stronger.

Tiny

It is tiny and the pool had 5 lounge chairs so get there early. The room is ridiculously small but clean the bathroom door slides to open and close no lock. The lobby carpet was full of stains that should be clean since it's the first place guests see. Ceilings were low felt a bit claustrophobic. Food very good and reasonable prices. You have to pay to park which is ridiculous.

Birthday getaway

I stayed here from 9/15-9/18 right after hurricane irma and before hurricane maria. The hotel was beautiful just like it's pictures on expedia and both hotel restaurants had great authentic puerto rican food to enjoy. Plus side the hotel has it's own pool plus is across the street from the Carolina beach. Definitely a tourist area with everything in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again

Great modern comfortable hotel

I booked one night in advance but my flight back was delayed due to hurricane Irma. The staff was able to extend my stay and were very accommodating to my flight changes. The hotel is very modern and funky but they don't slack on comfort at all. The room was a perfect size with a view of the beach across the street. The bed and shower were high end and rivaled much more expensive hotels I have stayed at. The room was very clean and polished. I didn't have a suite but the staff brought up a mini fridge and microwave which was great for a long stay.

Love this hotel

I have stayed here several times and love it. Very clean and trendy. Hotel staff are very nice and the rooms are very comfy...especially the bed! The only thing I have to say needs improvement is how loud the hotel staff are while in the hallways. I got woken up quite a few times due to the noise in the hallways early in the mornings. Besides that I love this hotel!
