Tres Terrific

Posted Aug 13, 2017
Pros: The morning breakfast was good...hard boiled eggs, ham, bread and bagels.cream cheese, butter, cubed cheese. Bananas, cake, coffee, juice.
Cons: The shower leaked and drove us crazy for a couple days but we shut the water off and that was that.
Location: Beach across the street, Condado shop/eat, Isla Verde beach/night life. Ubers cheap bus seventy five cents
We just checked out a couple days ago and I miss this gem already. Maria, Caesar and Jen you are the best! As much as you are required to do, you guys still smiled, answered questions and engaged in conversation with everyone. 5 * for all of U... I know there were 2 other staff during our stay but I really only saw them leaving in the morning when the others arrived and one mid day. This little gem of a place is directly across from the beach. There is a seawall that goes about a 1/4 mile along a 2 lane street. There are a few places to enter the beach although via steps. We usually used the steps to walk the beach and we walked down to where the main playa was to swim. The B and B will let use their chairs, cooler and ice. They give you beach towels to use and Im sure if you asked for other things and they had them you could use them. The hot tub was such a nice treat to watch the sunset. The roof patio was clean and you could chat with friend, use you IPHONE, play a game with family or eat and relax. The little pool was like an oasis tucked in the back. The lizards on the wall, little black and white cat and fish all seemed happy.WE WERE too..Our room had 2 beds, plenty of towels and wash clothes because I asked for what we wanted. Shampoo and soap. The kitchen had what you needed if you wanted to make or heat something up. The fridge kept everything cold and the ice frozen. The Dish had all the channels you might want watch on the flat screen tv.

Across from beach

Posted Aug 11, 2017
Pros: Across from the beach and the staff. Also breakfast was included.
Cons: A place to sit inside theorem would have made it great.
Location: There were restaurants within walking distance. Need a car or set up tours like we did with pick up, cabs are expensive.
We had a great time and everyone at Tres Palmas Inn was so nice and helpful. Cesar, Jenn and the lovely young lady in the evenings (sorry forgot name) were terrific.

Close to the beach

Posted Aug 7, 2017
This hotel has many pros and cons. Nice hotel very close to the beach and agrocery store is two blocks away. However, to every thing else like restaurants and bars we had to take an uber, which was fairly cheap but just enjoying. We stayed five days and they cleaned our room only once which was really disappointing. The staff was really welcoming, nice, and very helpful!

Hello Anonymous, Thank you for your honest feedback. It is rare that the maids do not clean on a daily basis unless there is a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I am happy to hear that our staff was able to assist you with your needs. Warm Regards, Maria V

All the employees were very nice and helpful, place was clean, we had a nice suite upstairs by the jacuzzi area. Showers were a little bit cold which I'm sure its because of the jacuzzi, but either than that it was incredibly nice.

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the shower seemed cold. Often times, the cold and hot water sides get confused. In the first 10 seconds or so the cold water feels warmer than the hot!!

Nice small hotel close to the beach

Posted Jul 16, 2017
The price was reasonable but I did find it a bit far from old San Juan. The breakfast was more than continental. I enjoyed the variety of choices and it changed everyday. The stairs on the roof are very dangerous and slippery. I slid down but didn't hurt myself. There should be a yellow strip so no one gets hurt. The rooms are very very small.

Hello CM, Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing our breakfast as being more than continental. The stairs are terra cotta tiles which tend to be more porous and better adapted to varying weather conditions. There are also railings on either side. Regardless, I will discuss the matter with our team. Most people find our rooms to be on the smaller side. I suppose it also depends on the category of room reserved. Take Care,

Great location near the ocean

Posted Jul 7, 2017
Pros: Off the beaten path and it was very cozy, views and staff.
Cons: Parking , but every where you go its an issue not just there.
Location: Old San Juan is a 10 min drive, good local food within walking distance and a private beach feel. All the tourist destinations are 1 hour to 1 1/2 hrs
The hotel was steps from the ocean with beautiful views. It is a very quaint set up with a lot of different outside sitting areas and spread out , the roof top terrace was great place to drink or eat and enjoy the views. The hotel had a lot of equipment for guests to use which was nice. The hotel is old and shows its age. The staff was absolutely amazing couldnt ask for better customer service. It is on a busy road with a lot of traffic all the time however you cannot hear it inside your room and there was not a lot of parking space but thanks to the staff they helped us with it.

Hi Amy, Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed staying somewhere a little different and with a bit more character than is seen nowadays. I'm glad parking wasn't too bad over the busy 4th of July weekend. We hope to see you again!

Nice place jyst a few steps from the beach

Posted Jul 5, 2017
This hotel has a very convenient location: close to the beach, to the airport, supermarket and to the Old city. Easy uber ride will take you to the most popular places within 15 min, and it is an hour drive to Fajardo. Simple very light breakfast included, no other food/drinks offered during the day. Room service was ok except for the fact that the clogged drain in the shower never got cleaned.

Awesome would be the word that sums up our stay!

Posted Jul 2, 2017
Pros: Clean, Trendy feel, Awesome Location, Workers very helpful and friendly!
Location: Tres Palmas Inn is in my opinion located close to beaches, food, San Juan Night life, all the while staying away from the bustling traffic.
Wow, where can I start, after an intensive search for affordable housing for my family and I while in Puerto Rico we booked our reservations at Tres Palmas Inn. Initially as any traveler we were anxious and nervous not knowing what to really expect about the facilities and location! We were quickly at ease upon arrival! My family and I stay'ed here for one week departing the island only yesterday! I seriously could not wait to write a review of how satisfied we were! Everything about this place was awesome! Affordable! Clean! Friendly & Helpful Staff! Location, Location, Location! Close to everything and parking no where as near congested as a mile or two down the road. The ocean is directly across the street! The Inn has a very relax laid back feel to it! We LOVED IT! What makes me even more happy is that my family LOVED it as well, they could not stop talking about what a good choice I had made! We highly recommend this Inn and will Definitely be returning on our next visit!!!!!

Hello Anonymous, Thank you for your feedback. Parking is street parking so we have little control being that we are located in a residential community by the beach. Most days you can easily find a spot directly in front of the hotel with exception of Sundays and holiday weekends.
