Property was old and dated. Seeing the exterior of the property first-hand, i would have drove on by. Not much hotel options, so your paying a high amount for a room that seems to be a $60-$80 value. I don't think theres much revenue, hence the overpricing.
Old fasioned but clean. Very roomy but strange furniture arrangement..
Breakfast was in a large room with the food spread out in different areas causing you to go back and forth across the room. A strange setup.
Compared to the prices in the Rockies, this is a great value with three bedrooms and four beds. It has everything you need and more. Special mention to the owners for providing us with all kinds of supplies imaginable. Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay.
We've stayed here before, great parking for our camper trailer. Staff are SO nice. Room is clean, and has what we need. My only issue was, and it's a minor issue, but one that irks me whenever I encounter it in a motel. The cheap toilet paper! One ply, really? Not a place to save money, believe me, ...
Very nice hotel, staff very friendly and accommodating, The breakfast selection and quality was great. :) Only thing I didn't care for was the stairway walls were very dirty with black marks and dirt. The rest of the hotel was well kept.
The friendly efficient staff. The wonderfully manicured lawns. The breakfast and stocked lemon water. We could tell that it was a remodeled facility, some paint on the walls didnt.match, but overall this is a property that we would definitely revisit.
Large rooms, clean, comfortable beds, and easily adjustable air conditioning/heat. However, there were a couple of minor plumbing issues which I advised the hotel of upon check out.
San Luis Lake State Park is a relaxing place that provides a much-needed reprieve from the stresses of daily life.
While you might not recognize Alamosa, the place in which it is located, you're probably aware of the state capital, Denver, 150 miles away.
Despite the fact that there are no listed accommodation options in the immediate area, San Luis Lake State Park is still popular among visitors. 60 miles away is where you will locate the Hampton Inn Canon City. If you are looking for a little more variety, the Hampton Inn Alamosa, CO and the La Veta Inn are 16 miles and 40 miles from San Luis Lake State Park.
