We were treated so well from the moment we arrived. The suite was beautiful with a gorgeous view. The pool, spa and fire pit area was sparkling clean and inviting. The room had a Keurig coffee pot, microwave and small refrigerator. The bed was really comfortable as well. We also received a bottle of wine in the room free of charge! I cannot imagine how I would improve upon what they are already doing.

I loved our stay at the Avila Lighthouse Suites, and I can't wait to return. That being said, there were a few things about the room/property that kept me from giving it 5 stars. Pros-the location! You can't beat the location. Avila Beach is so pretty and peaceful and you are right there next to everything. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the fact that they had Bath and Body Works products in the bathroom/shower. The breakfast was good. Although it seemed to have the same things at any other hotel, the food seemed a little better quality. And the women who worked in the breakfast room was awesome. Cons-No charger or outlet on one side of the bed. The bathroom had no ventilation unless you opened the window, and if we did that, people climbing the stairs would be able to see in. My biggest con is that they charge for parking. $15 a day isn't much, but you are already paying a lot for the room, and the parking is on their property. Either don't charge, or include it in the price of the room, why do they have to work with a 3rd party?

This hotel is wonderful. Rooms are big and very cute, has a nice pool, and is right on the beach. The main area of town is right next to the hotel with several restaurants.

People on the street parking outside the hotel balcony/rooms and at the public park across the street played really loud obnoxious music late into the night. Hotel can't do anything becasue it's not their property.

Right by the beach, very clean beach area and walking path. Nice restaurants just steps away. No restaurant within the hotel property but plenty of choices just steps away on the street. Very cute European style atmosphere and everything is so clean. Even the beach itself was unusually clean. Soothing sound of the waves crashing the shores and nice balcony with ocean view.

The rooms themselves are fairly basic but clean, with comfortable beds and a nice sitting area. Beautiful ocean front views in a quaint little community. A nice bottle of wine was included - very tasty!

Loved our visit! Beautiful resort. Fun games for families. Very clean. Nice touch to have cookies at front desk and complimentary wine in our room. View was gorgeous and enjoyed text for checkout. Will be back and will recommend. Ocean front lower floor puts you at eye level with sidewalk passerby's so 2nd floor would be best for Ocean front rooms if you plan on sitting on the patio. Suites are roomy and bed was very comfy.Other family stayed in a 2 room villa 2nd floor overlooking pool area and ocean from living room and master conjoined patio. Sunsets were amazing. Very roomy and it had a gas fireplace which is cozy in winter. I really enjoyed this resort.

Nice hotel with nice ocean views conveniently located to local restaurants and beach (right across the street). Room was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, bread products, fruit, juices, coffee - overall basic but quiet adequate. We very much enjoyed our stay.
