Lovely hotel with a long walk to the beach.Posted Nov 21, 2015
Pros: We loved how spacious the room and the bathroom were and how quiet it was.
We enjoyed our stay at the Avila Village Inn. It is in a quiet and very beautiful setting. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. However do not drink water from taps in room. Drink the water the hotel provides in the lobby. Andbeware of the food from the deli.

AnniversaryPosted Nov 21, 2015
Pros: The setting, the personal hot tubs, the rooms the staff. I could go on.
This is a fabulous hotel. I would rank it in the top two I have every stayed in. It was in a beautiful setting, the rooms were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the hot tub on the porch. the staff were very attentive. Even the lobby was beautiful my wife and I sat in the lobby for a while enjoying coffee by the fireplace. W are looking forward to going back soon.

Weekend getawayPosted Nov 11, 2015
Found out about this hidden gem through Expedia. We usually stay at Sycamore Springs but this was a great change. Intimate, quiet and great amenities. We will be back.

Beautiful peaceful hotelPosted Nov 5, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay . This hotel is impressive in many ways. The buildings themselves have a large mission look. The drive in from the road and all the surrounding trees are beautiful. The entrance to the hotel has a mission grandness to it. All the staff we dealt with in our 5 days there were very friendly and accommodating. We had a suite and it was wonderful! Very comfy and loved the hot tub. Breakfasts were delicious! Our room was very cozy and private. I like the fact that it's not right on the beach in the crowds. We definitely felt like we got away and relaxed!! My only suggestion is that the couch in our room was in need of new cushions. They kept slipping down into the frame of the couch and let you against the hard wood frame. Otherwise it was great and I am trying to figure out when we can go back!

FriendlyPosted Nov 1, 2015
Pros: The charm and friendliness of it
Location: It is on the outskirts of Avila Beach which is fine. We only stayed one night so we drove to the beach and had a fantastic meal on the waterfront
We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel but once we did it was excellent. Had lots of charm. Our room was excellent and very comfortable

Great place and honest staff.Posted Oct 20, 2015
We thought this place was great. The staff even called us to let us know that my wife left her $80 perfume bottle. Honest good people. The only downside to the hotel is that there is no bar. They were building one though so maybe next time. Oh yeah, they even gave us a free bottle I good Merlot for our anniversary.

Great locationPosted Oct 18, 2015
Great place, excellent trail to the beach! Bring your own bottled water as all of Avila has bad water.
