Perfect motel for someone who isn't going to spend much time in their room. Comfortable, pretty clean and safe. Staff was nice too.

Now a hotel for the homeless

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Great walking distance but because it's cheap it's become a home for the disrespectful drunk homeless people of Morro Bay. The Staff was understanding and accomadating because of the situation though. It's just Not like it used to be 5+ years ago. Will be staying somewhere else next time sadly.

Rooms need updating

Posted Nov 13, 2016
The main reason i booked this motel was because they had a hot tub and it was closed along with the pool. Beds arent that comfortable. The guy i spoke to was very friendly and the girl said because i booked through expedia she coudnt give me a discount. Very disappointed about hot tub because i had back surgery couple months back and really needed it.

Worth a return stay

Posted Oct 19, 2016
Pros: Views of Morro Rock and the little bay from second and third floors. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Cons: Continental breakfast was not good. No place to sit for breakfast.
Location: Morro Bay is a great location for the beginning or end of a drive up Highway 1. Cute beach town to walk around. Beach is a long but easy walk.
The Breakers is an older property. Rooms have been somewhat updated and are comfortable if not fancy. Third floor rooms have a fireplace and spectacular view. Beds are comfortable. Second floor rooms also have a view, with chairs outside on the shared walkway. Really no amenities outside of decent rooms, but location is in the middle of town and walking distance to most everything. Skip the continental breakfast.

Nice location with beautiful views. Rooms very nice but there is no lift to floors 2 or 3. Be aware if you have heavy luggage to get to your room. Breakfast adequate but no proper dining room. Sort of a self-service from the small reception area with no indoor seating. Take break to room or you might be lucky to get one of the 4 chairs situated outside the reception door.

Great view, nice location, close to beach and bars. Would go there again, except for the weekend bookings (super expensive then).
