Looked like nice place and it was a holiday weekend, so rooms were hard to come by. We checked in, dropped our stuff in the room and headed out to see the sites in Pismo Beach. When we got back, the room seemed stuffy, so I turned down the A/C and turned the fan to ON. A half hour later, it was 3 degrees warmer in the room than when we started. I went to the front desk to see if something could be done, but the maintenance staff had gone home, so no dice. The hotel was full, so no room change. The desk clerk did the best he could. He found a box fan and comp'ed our breakfast. It turned out that if our room location had been different, that would have been sufficient, because with the windows open and the fan on, the room was comfortable even without A/C. Unfortunately, our window faced a service entrance so we couldn't leave the curtains open, and we had to put up with a warm, noisy room for the night. I think for business travelers, this would be a nice place.

Hello and thank you for taking time to let us know about your visit to our hotel. I was glad to read that our hotel's large guestrooms and central location allowed you to enjoy Pismo Beach. I apologize that the A/C in your guestroom wasn't working at 100%. I will make sure to follow up with our engineering and front desk teams so that they are better prepared to handle similar issues. Best regards.
