relaxing weekend

Pros: the location, customer service, very quiet, and very clean.
Cons: have the lounge bar open longer
Location: love the location close to the beach and downtown Pismo, shops and restuarants
we had a great time wanted to have a relaxing weekend before the thanksgiving holiday.

Disappointed

Location: Pismo beach is a great area but the hotel is not close to the beach!
The hotel staff was not helpful. The hotel sits on a hill but most of the rooms have a view of the parking lot as 3 of the 4 floors are below the parking lot. They boast about the views but there are none!

Pros: restaurant on my floor; staff very good.
Noisy - it seemed like the walls did not have enough insulation or something. I could hear people walking upstairs and talking next door, late at night. Hard to get asleep. There was no hot water in either sink. There were a large amount of people in the pool on the first night, screaming until late.

nice hotel and area it's located in. Easyoff acces

Found it very clean, view wasn't too bad. One odd and not too happy with the bed is set one way and TV is set where you need to look to side if lying in bed to watch it...bit of an odd setting we should have notified hotel staff before we left maybe they'd consider repositioning the room!! I recommend this hotel fair price we enjoyed our stay

Room trouble

Pros: If the A/C worked, it would have been a large, nicely furnished , clean comfortable room. Without A/C, just large and clean.
Cons: A/C maintenance. Normally, breakfast is an extra charge per person.
Location: Lots of stuff within driving distance (although little parking). Nothing within walking distance. Visit the pier, or go for a drive on the beach.
Looked like nice place and it was a holiday weekend, so rooms were hard to come by. We checked in, dropped our stuff in the room and headed out to see the sites in Pismo Beach. When we got back, the room seemed stuffy, so I turned down the A/C and turned the fan to ON. A half hour later, it was 3 degrees warmer in the room than when we started. I went to the front desk to see if something could be done, but the maintenance staff had gone home, so no dice. The hotel was full, so no room change. The desk clerk did the best he could. He found a box fan and comp'ed our breakfast. It turned out that if our room location had been different, that would have been sufficient, because with the windows open and the fan on, the room was comfortable even without A/C. Unfortunately, our window faced a service entrance so we couldn't leave the curtains open, and we had to put up with a warm, noisy room for the night. I think for business travelers, this would be a nice place.

Adequate. Not the best "bang-for-the-buck".

Gentleman checking in before me was given water, breakfast & over-the-top attention. My turn...here's your room. For 600.00 (2-night stay) a few niceties would be warranted. Guests on the patios, next to us were talking loudly outside & smoking.

no potty service

The room was okay for last minute with the exception the toilet was plugged. We called the front desk to tell them and we received a plunger to do it ourselves, it never cleared completely it would plug after every other flush. I went to the front desk and told them about our late evening and it was okay we will send someone to fix it. We couldn't use it for fear of plugging we held it and went to the pool bathrooms outside out unit. The hotel should have said I'm sorry here have breakfast on us for the inconvience, but they didn't do anything I wouldn't stay again.
