Hotel room was infested by roaches. We brought this to the attention of the staff.They advised us to let Expedia know. I couldn’t sleep the whole night. There were roaches on the floor in the room and in the bathroom. I was nervous that they might crawl into my bed.i saved and the pictures and videos. Additionally the coffee machine was not working but the front desk manager was kind to give us hot water for tea.

We checked in and the staff was super sweet. We get to our room it looked like someone had laid on the bed. Go to use the bathroom and there was urine and toilet paper left in toilet. The floor has sand all over it so you couldn’t walk around barefoot or even wearing socks. The bathroom floor was really dirty also. We put the shower pad down and it was black from the floor. We had a two night stay and we left the next day. We will not be coming back. It’s unfortunate. If the place got a facelift it could be a beautiful hotel again.

We loved that our patio stretched out to a bigger patio that we could see Morro Bay from. Too bad the weather wasn't better to enjoy. We will have to return!

The restaurant on the property was the best view of Morro Bay. I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m going there for years. I highly recommend it not not only that there’s golf and hiking trails and an estuary close by.

This property was beautiful with beautiful front views of ocean. Rooms very nice but not that clean. We had black ants in our room and stains of food on walls. Would love to stay here again if they can fix that.

Like this location, within the State park. Walkable into town, very peaceful, serene location. Our room was a little tired. Mattress and bedding should be replaced. Linens are cheap. Was also noisy at night. Like that they have a nice Resturant / bar and dining area on site. With outdoor and indoor options with great view of the bay and Morrow rock. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall recommend this place.

The room needs a deep clean. There are cob webs on the ceiling and on furniture, dead mosquitoes on ceiling of bathroom and worms were crawling on ceiling in room, bathroom and room door. It was uncomfortable to me finding these things. There was even a worm crawling on my bedsheet as I was checking out. There is no insulation so you can hear neighbors upstairs. Updated room was nice but didn't make up for all the things mentioned earlier.

Everything about our stay was good and what we'd expected. What we didn't expect was that we'd have orange water coming out of the toilet, shower and sink our entire stay!!! When we told the front desk they said they'd send someone to check, then never followed up. Took cups of the water with us to check out and complained and again they never followed up! Thank goodness it was only a short stay.

The heater didn’t work in the room. I was cold and had to put on extra clothes over my pajamas and a robe and was still cold. I was giving two extra blankets and a space heater for the room. The next day the moisture inside the windows made it cold as it was 40° outside at night. The water in the toilet was brown as well as in the sink and shower. I had to use a bottle of water to brush my teeth. I would like a refund for my complete stay there they offered to upgrade the room, but at a cost. me and my sister vacation in that area around four times a year and we would never go back to that place again.

While the staff were friendly enough, I thought for the price the room was exceptionally small, could have been cleaner and maybe a few more amenities. My garden view room didn't have much of a view of the garden. The icing on the cake was the very large spider that was clinging to the headboard. Since the headboard is attached to the wall, we couldn't move it to get it. I slept at the foot of the bed and from there could see all the spider webs on the pictures and the back of the chair. I should say I barely slept at all for fear of the spider getting on me. Better housekeeping is a must. Shower was nice but bathroom is exceptionally small. I don't think I will visit there again.

No EV chargers
Hotel was nice. View was decent. Liked the fireplace and the bed was comfy. Restaurant menu could use some work. It was good but basically bar food. Both hotel and restaurant staff were great! The only problem we had was that Hotels.com advertised that they had EV chargers and they didn’t. We got to the hotel in the evening with very little battery left. Staff let us charge with an extension cord which was nice but it only gave us like 20 miles and we needed to travel to the Bay Area the next morning.

This was the first time staying here, we did have a snag with our in room coffee kerig but the lobby had fresh brewed ready! The restaurant was great! Very nice staff, so dog friendly, very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay and had a very nice walk and enjoyed our relaxing stay!

We were told by Expedia that our room was totally different than the room posted by Expedia pictures. We have stayed here many times, so we had to pay an upgrade fee that is not Inn At Morro Bays fault and not in any way a mistake of the property. Will be booking directly through Innatmorrobay.com moving forward if we want the posted room

Friendly staff, the room was adequate, but was more on the order of a summer beach house than what I was looking for. They seem to be upgrading as the hotel office was modern and comfortable, the landscaping was well done. Quiet, free parking. A good stay if you’ll be at the beach all day, we were there in December.

Ocean View or Partial Ocean View?
I don't know if the problem is with Hotels.com or the Inn At Morro Bay. When I booked the room, the description said "ocean view". When we checked in, the Inn said the room we booked was a "partial ocean view". All of the pictures on the rooms when booking were the same so we went by the description. In order to get the ocean view room we thought we had booked, we had to upgrade and pay additional charges when we checked into the Inn. That was frustrating and disappointing. The Inn blames Hotels.com and says that they have this problem frequently. The view was great (once we paid for the upgrade!) and the room was fine. Please fix the mis-communication between hotels.com and the Inn at Morro Bay so this doesn't happen to others.

Heating situation was poor. Heat vent was right by bed and blew on you as you slept. Heating unit in our first room broke and we had to move to another room. Spent the morning doing this and no compensation. Rooms are not all the same. Some have glass showers; others have curtains and bathroom is smaller.
