Not so great ...

Posted Jul 25, 2016
The receptionist at the desk did not have a professional appearance at all. She was nice but I was scared to talk to her. The breakfast was awful, stale bagels and pastries and water my coffee.

Pool dirty, breakfast old hard bagels. Not a very good variety of things. My reservations were for 2 king beds and only got one queen and one full.

Upkeep Good, but Dingy

Posted May 23, 2016
Pros: Price for the night.
Cons: More parking lights.
Location: Thursday nights, street fair.
It was a good pit stop for the night, between Tahoe and Orange County. There was a laundry room, that was open late. The hotel staff didn't know how to fix their wi-fi, but gave good recommendations of nearby food places. And even let us know there was a street fair happening nearby. Helpful and nice.

The worst hotel ever

Posted May 22, 2016
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: Replace the manager and hire a new company to manage and change this terrible hotel.
Location: There are much better locations near Monterey than this horrible hotel.
The worst hotel ever. You can get a hotel much better for the same money. Everything is terrible, specially the manager. Don't ever come to this trap.

Close to downtown

Posted May 19, 2016
Hotel staff was serious, not friendly. The continental breakfast did not seem fresh. It was pastries, coffee and juice.

Undermaintained

Posted May 15, 2016
Pros: Location was perfect. Right between downtown San Luis Obispo and the College
Cons: Electrical sockets needed to be replace. When you went to plug in an appliance, the plug would fall out. Rate on the interent were not consistent.
Location: Great location with restaurants close by. Too bad the one in the hotel was closed. College close and down down also close.
Thinking this hotel was a Ramada Inn. I didn't think to check the rating. I figured that all their hotels were of high quality, but I was wrong, especially since a paid, what I thought a good amount for the room. The room needed a big makeover. There were many repairs need in the room from lights, to not working to electrical outlets not working properly. The room I had was the only room that had a balcony and a fireplace in the room. I wouldn't trust lighting the fireplace. The balcony was over looking the side of the hotel, below was a small building with cigarette butts on it's room, probably thrown down from the balcony by previous occupants of the room. This hotel is advertise as a non smoking hotel. The room was very large, which was nice. Like that the sinks were not in with he toilet and shower. It was very noise after midnight, but this is a college town and it was Friday night in a college town. If you can, do not book this hotel during the Collages graduation ceremonies. It is extremely expense then, and diffidently not worth the price. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but one of the guest said it was heated. The breakfast area was very small. I tried to eat there, but there were too many people didn't want to go back to my room to eat, didn't have 1 hour to wait, so I went across the street and paid for my breakfast there.

Pay more start somewhere else

Posted May 3, 2016
Pros: nothing
Beds are very uncomfortable, they wobble. The room itself is ok but the smell of bleach will knock you out. All in all, I would NOT return to this hotel ever again.
