Wonderful stay!Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful. They will make scrambled eggs or waffles for you, and have a great variety of hot oatmeal, pastries and breads!
Location: The hotel is located in a perfect location!
My husband & have always stayed up the road at another hotel. This year for our 34th anniversary, we wanted to return to that hotel. When we called for reservations, nothing was available. I was so pleased to have found a new hotel! This is definitely the place we will stay in the future! We were greeted by very friendly staff and having the breakfast available was wonderful! They also offer a large DVD's selection for free! (plus popcorn!)

Very enjoyable stayPosted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful
Location: Several beaches located nearby (Morro, Avila, Pismo etc) Good food selection downtown
Staff was very helpful and willing to make stay very accommodating. Rooms very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was great, offers eggs and waffles made to order in addition to standard continental style breakfast. Close to downtown, but far enough away to avoid noise. Definitely would recommend as a place to stay in San Luis Obispo. Only criticism, you can hear when water is running between units ....

Too expensive and facilities need improvementPosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: It was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was good.
Cons: RESPOND TO REQUESTS OF GUESTS.
Location: Good location
Room was dreary, dark, garish and inconvenient; no place to put anything. Chairs very uncomfortable. Shower would change from hot to cold or cold to hot by itself. Toilet took almost 3 minutes to refill--UNACCEPTABLE. I told person in charge about it and he ignored my request to fix it. No facial tissue; I called desk but they did not respond. No elevator, only stairs. Charged more $ than quote from Expedia. Terribly overpriced to stay there. Would not stay there again.

Quiet and CleanPosted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Quiet; clean; unique and very nice furniture
Location: Plenty to do within walking distance.
I only spent one night there, but truly enjoyed the very quiet room towards the back of the facility. Large room, large poster bed, and large bathroom. Balcony too. All rated A+ with me and I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Great hotel, close to downtown SLO and to Pismo.Posted Jul 7, 2015
Location: Pappy McGregors was a blast. We were lucky enough to be there on trivia night and it was great.
What a find! The San Luis Creek Inn was perfect. We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Friendly staff, great accommodations.

Very Nice hotel in San Luis ObispoPosted Jul 6, 2015
Location: San Luis Obispo is a sweet town within easy reach of wineries, Morro Bay, Montana de Oro State park and other central coast sites.
While the location is not terrific: sandwiched between two hotels and there is no view of anything from any room short of the parking lot, the rooms themselves are quite spacious and nice. Each of the three buildings has a theme and they are carried into the rooms. Rooms were spotless, staff was pleasant. Breakfast is quite nice, far nicer than the chain hotel breakfast fare. Here we had freshly baked pastries, oatmeal, nice breads for toasting, good coffee and made to order eggs.
