Everything was superb from the moment we walked in kind staff nice facility clean perfect location to everything would stay here again

Great hotel right on Pismo Beach.

Pros: Everything.
Location: Only stayed one night and spent all the time on the beach. Will return again and spend more time.
All positive. Room, breakfast, price - all were great.

Bed to soft

Great place nice room beach front,good service ok breakfast gave little extras like fruit cookies and water available in lobby.Great staff,walking distance to good restaurants and entertainment We had a good time.Only complaint was the bed and pillows were to soft,other than that very happy with room.

Not quite as nice as it appears in the website.

When we checked in the woman at the desk said " I see you reserved a room with only a view of the parking lot. Would you like to upgrade for $20. a night to a room with an ocean view and a deck?" I said that nothing in the website told me it was a parking lot view but OK lets upgrade. We got to our upgraded room and it was in a separate building down the side street facing across the street looking at the parking lot of a different hotel, but if you craned your neck 90 degrees to the right, you really could see a little piece of the ocean. This is depicted as a hotel right on the ocean, but it doesn't seem like it when staying there. I feel like I got bait and switched and still didn't get what I wanted.

The hotel staff were amazingly friendly. The bed was huge and comfortable for both me and my husband. The views from the hotel were great! The only thing that bothered me was the loud air conditioner in the room. Anytime it was turned on, it was way too loud for my taste. I somehow slept through the night anyway.

Not a great experience

We arrived at night and it was easy to find. Check in was efficient yet not friendly. We stayed in room 101 and it was the worse room to stay in! It was next to the breakfast prep room. We were woken very early in the morning by staff talking, laughing and yelling along with clanking of dishes etc Staff also stood outside our room door having very loud conversations. Very frustrating and annoying when we chose this hotel as it had an 11am check out so we could have a sleep in after a long day of travelling.

Dissappointed

Very Dissappointed with this Hotel, Booked a King Ocean View Room. The room was hot and muggy with no air conditioning, only heating available, they had left a portable fan in the room, but very humid. The room have a veranda, but if you slept with the door open to allow cool air in the you would invite pedestrians on the street to come in as they was no security then for your room. Door keys failed with this room and others. The Ocean View was very filtered by builders hoardings, between room veranda partitions and the position of this room from the beach. Breakfast was included in the room price, and if you didn't mind cardboard bowls and plates and plastic knives and fork was adequate to start you day. All in all a very disappointing stay at an over priced price for this hotel room

We are temporarily using all paper and plastic service ware for our breakfast due to the water shortage and restrictions here in southern California. Nice Getaway

Location: Great location to enjoy the beach. You can take a walk on the pier or grab a bite to eat from the local restaurants. The area is very dog friendly.
Had an ocean view room- beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great.
