Great view of the ocean

Only issue was the noise from the air conditioner below our room ... we couldn't hear the sounds of the ocean !

Nice hotel on cliff

For the rate and being the furthest from the actual beach, we felt we should have had a better view. We felt they picked higher rate and placed us away from a nicer ocean view. Breakfast was not great.

Construction still going on !!!

Pros: STAFF IS POLITE !!! BREAKFAST IS SERVED VERY NICE !!!
Cons: BEING HONEST FELT TRICKED WHEN TOLD THEY CHANGED OWNERSHIP AND NO LONGER BEST WESTERN AS OF DEC 1 AND CONSTRUCTION
Location: Lots of restaurants and scenic beauty
Was not told of Construction when made my reservation also not told that they are no longer Best Western as of Dec 1 until I asked for my rewards points..Disappointed !!! Staff is EXCELLENT AND POLITE !!!

Nice hotel, beach view hear the ocean

Pros: Ocean view, hear the waves, clean newly remodeled room, in room safe,
Cons: Fit the front door properly in the frame and install sound seals to reduce road noise
Location: Great restaurants near by and in SLO, wine tasting near by, great deli just north of the hotel
We enjoyed our stay once we switched to one of the rooms that had been remodeled. Hotel was under construction and my wife and I agreed Expedia and the hotel should let people know that they are under renovation and would have limited use of some facilities and the noise of construction would be going on The newly remodeled room was great the view was great the location is very good for enjoying SLO and the surrounding areas

Filthy, smelly balcony due to all the birds and bird droppings everywhere.

Beautiful breathtaking views!!

The hotels front facade was under construction, but that did not stop the our wonderful stay. The room was very nice, the view was spectacular!! Front desk associate was very friendly too! Free breakfast was very good!! Highly recommend! Photos were taken from our balcony.

Great location, everything else was a let down.

The saving grace of this hotel is it's location, right on the cliff with an amazing view. The rest of the hotel was very dated. The room smelled musty and stuffy, with old fixtures and just disappointing in general. The main lobby was under construction also so the check in office was set up in one of the hotel rooms which felt a little creepy. Overall I would not stay here again.
