I had to change the location of my room as I don't have a car and was unable to walk up the hill to my room. The attendant was very helpful in changing my room to the lower level. They always accommodate me an my needs.

Vagabond Inn is updated and comfortable place for short stay. Great location by Madonna Inn restaurant and downtown San Luis. There were several un housed people camping in landscaped areas around the motel and one was sleeping under lobby windows late at night! Bright security lights helped make me feel my car was was safe from break in but light gets in hotel room so blinds must be shut tight to get sleep.

Toilet was backed up, took an hour for someone to come and fix it, and when we called to tell them about it, they claimed they didnt have a bathroom at the front desk, which seems like a flat out lie, and told us to use the bathroom at Denny’s. Sink smelled really bad as well. Fridge was broken and they said they could fix it but never did.
