Nice place to stay!Posted Oct 13, 2015 on Hotels
It was a very nice hotel and we would be happy to stay there again. Our only negative would be that the carpet was very dirty. It would be good if the hotel could replace the carpet in the room.

Couldn't find a closer hotel for Monterey historic races. Got in late, left early. Minimal but a good deal.

Just outside Paso RoblesPosted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: Lowest price available at time of reservation (didn't know the Mid-State Fair was underway with major concerts in Paso.
Location: Right off freeway (plus and minus), 1 mile to San Miguel mission, 7 mi to Paso Robles.
Beds were comfortable although I had to ask for a second sheet! Traffic noise throughout the night. A/C worked great but NOISY. Easy check in/out and access to freeway. Limited restaurant option nearby.

Dirty, worst hotel I've ever stayed at!Posted Jun 16, 2014 on Orbitz
The hotel was disgusting! The bathtub had putty holding the bar together, dead flies on the ground and the towels had a dirty tint to them. Then when I went to go to bed noticed the pillowcase was dirty and the sheets had blood on them!!!! I have never seen a hotel that gross in my life!!!! This place should be closed down!!!

Don't Expect Very MuchPosted Feb 22, 2011 on Orbitz
Overall I would describe this property as marginal. Although the room was clean, it was in desperate need of updates. It seemed as though someone transplanted this hotel from 1985. With the appointments in the room, we got a very restless nights sleep. The real issues with the hotel didn't arise until the following morning.[...] it was 10 AM and our key cards for the room already stopped working. Fortunately we had propped the room door open as if we were locked out of the room, there would be no one to get us in, no one to call, nothing. Very poor.Overall I would not recommend this property to anyone and would not stay there again.

Recent stay in San MiguelPosted Oct 18, 2010 on Orbitz
This was the most affordable lodging we could find close to Paso Robles for the 2010 "Wine Harvest Festival" weekend. It is located about 7 miles north of Paso and is at the start of the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail. Lot's of great small wineries in the area. The motel manager was very graceous and flexible, even keeping the breakfast bar open an hour later so we could enjoy the fresh fruit, coffee and danish. The room we had was adequate but could have been a little bit better deep cleaned. Had a good trip and would stay here again.
