Lovely hotel. Great location and clean. Bathroom was a bit outdated and breakfast could have been a bit more spread out in terms of seating however lots of choice.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon. We took a water taxi to a nearby stop and it was a very short walk to the hotel and it was very easy to find. Our room met our expectations and we very much enjoyed the included breakfast.

How to get into the hotel? Everything in Venecia is quiet difficult to get by with suitcases. You can choose taking the AliLaguna as it is the most convenient. The location of the hotel was quiet central inside Venecia. Really close to the Main Piazza. Room was nicely decorated (Venecian style) but it was quiet small maybe it was the one I booked. Because everything is Venecia there are lots of businesses around. It can be quiet loud at night and early in the morning. Continental Breakfast was good, lots of yummy food to choose from. I like that we could pay for the city tax by card. You don't have to think about having cash at all with you.

Disappointing
We stayed here about 6 years ago, again for New year. We chose again because of location. I would say the room we stayed in Number 37 definitely needs updating. It was a small room but to be expected in a city centre location. However the bathroom was very small and shower inadequate in size. Disappointed to see the use of plastic cups in bathroom . We were notified on the 20th December that the lift was out of order. When we left on the 1st of January it had not been repaired. We did have help with our cases. My biggest complaint is about tne bedding. Pillows ok. Sheets white and clean . However no quilt on bed, it was 2 sheets sandwiching a very old blanket. There was another blanket to use in the same condition. Breakfast on offer was really good and choices plentiful.

I stayed here with my mother. We really enjoyed our stay. Spacious room. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Very easily found from the airport getting the waterbus to Rialto bridge.

Get the water taxi from airport to Rialto Get off and go straight up the narrow alley inbetween a spar on the left and restaurant on the right 200 yards on the left is the hotel Lovely hotel , staff and room Room very warm had to switch the heating off Breakfast very nice indeed Area around is lovely and so convenient. Would definitely recommend it to others TIP When going to a restaurant before you go In ask their cover charge as they charge from 3euro each person just to sit at the table If you ask before you go in they say free

Ideally place hotel close to St Marks square and the Rialto Bridge. Hotel clean, staff very friendly and helpful, small gift for my partner who’s birthday it was appreciated! ( thank you Veronica!) Breakfast varied with both hot and cold options. Room cleaned and fresh linen every day, service staff friendly and also helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff at the Hotel were lovey and very helpful, In our room the bed was either too big for the size of the room or the room was too small for the size of the bed, the room could only accommodate a large double bed, wardrobe, desk, 2 chairs and 2 tiny bedside tables, when I say tiny the phone didn't quite fit. There were no drawers for underwear so we had to put them in the desk drawer. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and the dinning room staff, very helpful and polite.

Hotel is centrally located with easy 5 minute walk to Rialto bridge and St. Marks square. Very well maintained and morning breakfast is a plus for anyone wanting to grab a bite in the morning before sightseeing. Luca, the night manager was very courteous and helped us check in and out. We had an early train to catch and they even packed a to-go breakfast box. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Perfectly located
The Hotel Gorizia is perfectly located between San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. With lots of little streets, restaurants and shops to explore along the way. Too many photo opportunities to mention. Gondola rides are available within a short walking distance. The staff are all very friendly with good English. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom adequate for our needs. Our towels were changed and bins emptied daily. The breakfast room is small but well stocked. Our day of departure was too early for breakfast so the hotel provided us with a generous bag of breakfast things. This was very much appreciated. We absolutely loved our time in Venice and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting for the first time.

Great location but room lacked comfort
The location was perfect - central to the Piazza as well as the Rialto bridge with many fantastic restaurants and shops along the way. But the room was tiny and the bed uncomfortable. We barely fit in the shower and the AC system was old and didn’t really cool the room down. It was the worst room of the 5 we stayed in during our 2 week trip through Italy.

This property right in the heart of Venice was an excellent place to stay.We were given easy instructions from the Rialto bus stop and had no problem finding the hotel. The service we received was way beyond. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable. My only cons would be the hair dryer is antique and the blankets on the bed were scratchy.Minimal really.

Overall, our stay was very good. The staff was pleasant and informative. The location was ideal for walking to the Rialto bridge and San Marco square. It is also conveniently close to great restaurants and shopping. However, its location does pose a downside. The central location does allow for a lot of noise at night, which is the trade off for being close to most major attractions. An area for improvement, is the breakfast. If you’re looking for high quality, croissants and espresso, skip that included breakfast.

If you are looking for a place to sleep while you explore Venice during the day, then this hotel is more than adequate. Its central location makes it ideal to see all local attractions , shopping and dinning. Its also very close to public transportation for wider city exploration. The staff here here are the final element…very friendly and accommodating to my requests. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel was in the heart of Venice, walkable to many sights of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't as effective as it should have been.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, from the time we arrived earlier than check in time and we're immediately told room is ready. Very courteous front desk staff, awesome AC, during our entire duration. Fantastic breakfast service cold and hot counters. Highly recommended if you are not fussy, great value for money.
