Very Venetian in the heart of Venice

Posted Apr 16, 2018
The San Moise is very central and convenient for all the sites, and gives good value for money. It has lots of character and is a bit quirky. The breakfast room is in the basement but stand up and look out of the window and you get a water level view of passing gondolas against a picturesque background of ancient buildings.

Traditional hotel close to san marco and river boa

Posted Apr 15, 2018
i stayed here with my sister and niece in a triple room. The staff were really helpful and friendly the room was clean and fresh. The room looked over to other buildings but what it lacked in view it made up for in sound as we could hear the gondoliers singing as they went along the canals next to the hotel. The hotel had a lovely little court yard to sit out in. It would have been ideal to have a drink in however the hotel didn't provide this service. The breakfast was continental and had a good variety of food to get you set for walking around this beautiful city.

Hotel is really welll situated, two minute walk to the square. The room was much smaller than the pictures available but this did not spoil the experience.

Cons: Directions for use of a complex TV system should be in the room.
Pleasand, small, average Venice hotel, but great central location, near Square and Opera House, and windows overlook a vibrant canal. Rooms are small; TV impossible to make work consistently, and hair dryer not working. Pleasant and helpful staff; fine breakfast. Pricey for it's size but perhaps not for Venice in September.

Coldest air conditioner in Europe. Comfy beds small dark rooms good for sleeping. The breakfast was wonderful and buffet style. It had an awesome court yard. The location was the best thing 5 min walk to most of the major sites. It is an older hotel built a couple of centuries ago.
