The hotel is very centrally located and is probably very popular for that reason. However, it seems like the owners or managers have not taken the time to review the Expedia information and therefore it is not correct. I had a Junior Suite which should have had a king sized bed but only got a room upstairs that was a double at best. Also, bathroom smell was unpleasant. The layout of the rooms means that anything in the lobby and in the rooms can be heard. There is no onsite parking, it is valet parking and has to be requested. There is coffee and a snack in the morning which was called "breakfast." Overall the hotel is OK and the location is great for walking around San Miguel, but attention to detail in the description could me less confusion and dissapointment for the guests.

I liked the big sitting room ,the nice view on the Cathedral, the friendliness of the staff and the fact that there were nice , small restaurants very nearby

Mostly everything real good, the only things I didn't like is that the parking is not on site and can take up to 30 minutes to get your car and in the room you can hear anything that happens outside

Incorrect information on the hotel facilities
They advertised that there was parking available when in reality the parking was 12 blocks away. That is totally un resano le and also imprudent. I am traveling on a motorcycle and wanted the security of being able to check on the bike frequently. I have already had bad incidents regarding security and didn’t want to take a chance. The girl at the desk said that she would cancel my reservation, her name is Alma

It Has Potential
I really wanted to love this hotel, but it needs work, despite some strengths. LA is very conveniently located for shopping and restaurants, and it is close enough to the city center to soak up the energy without being too close. Another strong point was the staff, who were all very nice, although I’d recommend keeping Google Translate handy if you speak no Spanish. The room was very clean, and the cleaning woman worked at superhuman speed, so no complaints there. However, while the bed was comfortable and the rooms spacious, neither the room safe nor the TV worked. Torrential rains during our stay generated the faint smell of sewage or something similar in the room, which was also quite noisy at different times of the day. The hotel sits directly on one of the main streets of SMA, with one room literally a pane of glass away from the sidewalk. Some of these issues may be beyond their control, but I didn’t appreciate that the rooms did not live up to the website photos. The lobby picture was significantly enhanced; I am not sure the others even can from LA.
