A mini break

Posted Oct 28, 2016 on Hotels
We really enjoyed our stay in San Sebastian and the hotel is located in the quieter part of the city but there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was surprising as it's a 4* hotel but they have a cafeteria downstairs. Be prepared for either a long walk along the prom to the old town and a bit further on again to the city area or use a local bus ride/taxi which are close by the hotel. It's worth taking the tour bus to get views of the different parts of this beautiful city. There are lots of small, interesting shops and hundreds of tapas bars which are all very tempting. The buildings are beautiful and there is a lot to see. Be prepared for a lot of walking, as with all cities, but it's certainly worth it here.

Comfortable, close to beach

Very comfortable, great room and a great shower. It's a significant walk to the old quarter (not necessarily a bad thing after indulging in the amazing food).

Second stay. Just as good as last year.

Another enjoyable relaxing stay in this hotel. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very good deal with Expedia nearly a quarter of the rack rate booked a couple of months in advance. Having an underground garage makes life a lot easier. Thanks again Fani and Nieve. You are both stars!

It was a good location for the nearest beach, a long walk from the Old Town - the hotel and room were clean and pleasant enough for a 3 star hotel .....except it advertises itself as a 4 star hotel and with all due respect I wouldn't say it is 4 star

San Sebastián comfort.

Two nights to sample life in San Sebastian. Convenient to the western side of the beach and regular local buses to take one into the old town in the evenings. Friendly and comfortable hotel in a nice area convenient to shops and cafés. Very clean and comfortable.
