Second stay. Just as good as last year.

Another enjoyable relaxing stay in this hotel. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very good deal with Expedia nearly a quarter of the rack rate booked a couple of months in advance. Having an underground garage makes life a lot easier. Thanks again Fani and Nieve. You are both stars!

It was a good location for the nearest beach, a long walk from the Old Town - the hotel and room were clean and pleasant enough for a 3 star hotel .....except it advertises itself as a 4 star hotel and with all due respect I wouldn't say it is 4 star

Good hotel. nicely located within the town

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Good location. San Sebastian is an unexpectedly attractive city (I traveled for business and so hadn't looked into what the town was like). The hotel is convenient for the university, the beaches and the old town! It had a nice relaxed feel.

Great location and close to the beach

Clean, modern and quiet. 5 minute walk from the beach. About a good 1 mile walk along the beach to the old town. The only downside: the hotel staff speaks very little English

Perfect spot, Quite avenue on , easy to get to

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: convenient parking . integrated
Location: little bars where locals hangout
Perfect spot if you like walking along the "broadwalk" the entire lenght of the playa de la conca . Walking is what you do in Spain . 30 mins to Parte Vieja or about 3.1 Km .. Along the way walk on the sandy beach if possible... very active especially in great autumn days Nice little bars where local hangout in the side streets when you do not feel like heading back out to the centro

It is close to the beach, but the hotel is ugly

It is close to the beach, but not attractive at all, the way it looks like it doesn't look like 4 star hotel at all

A Gem

Pros: The staff was very nice and it was located in a quiet, safe area (not that I found any area in San Sebastian to be unsafe).
Location: You can walk to the beach and on the walking path towards Concha beach where there are restaurants and things to see and do.
Very good experience at the hotel. Located approximately 3 blocks from the beach. Quiet location, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, easy check in and easy check out. Very willing to provide you with information about the local scene. I would recommend and definitely stay at San Sebastian Hotel in the future. It is located in the Andorreta Beach area so it's not close to the restaurants and night life (although it is a nice walk and definitely doable). We had no problem and the view is spectacular on the walking path.
