A wonderful place to stay. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly, professional and helpful. Beautiful setting 10-15 minutes walk to main tourist areas. Hope to return to this hotel.

The villa looks beautiful. very clean room，comfortable bedding，gated building very safe. a bit far from old town attractions but hotel provide free bike which is the best tool to tour San Sebastian.

The staff are wonderful and do everything they can to make your stay a pleasure. A fantastic renovation of a historic villa with interesting artwork on display. Lovely breakfast served in the elegant bar area overlooking the gardens. A gem of a hotel.

Fabulous and luxurious
I read the reviews before booking and I agree with all fantastic reviews. The hotel is a cosy, luxurious villa located close to the beach. The decoration, fresh flowers, interior design and high-end service minded staff truly gives this little gem a worthy stay. Pricing is met with what you get. The breakfast was also fresh and great. Maybe they can offer some more options, but it was cooked after demand and not much to say really.

Beautiful hotel both inside and out. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Easy to walk into town (about 10 mins to the edge of town, 20 mins to the Old Town), and they have bikes to hire if you want to go further afield. Strongly recommended.

Fabulous hotel
We stayed for 7 nights at Villa Soro in July. Everything was fabulous! The hotel is actually located over 2 buildings. We were in room 205 in the new building which is behind the original villa. It was really spacious, lots of space in the bedroom area and the bathroom had a separate bath and shower. The entire hotel is impeccably decorated with a fabulous sense of luxury and serenity. It was unexpectedly hot for this time of year so the distance from the center of town was a small issue. However Villa Soro does provide bikes which we used multiple times every day! It's about a 7 min cycle to Zurriola beach (to the point where you can rent the sun loungers) and about 25 mins all the way across town to the Monte Igueldo funicular. The city seems to be very safe, we had no issue with locking our bikes anywhere and there are extensive cycle lanes throughout the city. The only place we didn't cycle to was to the area with Basqueland Brewing/the Cider museum/Cider houses, but it was only about €18 in a taxi directly from the hotel. The hotel also can provide a little beach bag with beach towels in it for you if you are hoping to have some beach days during your stay. The only other feedback I would have is just a personal preference that more of the breakfast buffet could be self service? and maybe provide bigger coffee pots! but other than that the breakfast was delicious all the same. Thank you for a fabulous stay, we loved our trip to San Sebastian!

This was a fabulous bit of luxury. The staff were lovely, amenities great and surroundings very peaceful. The only complaint was the bed was a little too hard for our taste but depends what you’re used to.

Beautiful property close walking distance to the old quarter. The villa is beautifully maintained, the rooms are as good as it gets and the staff is charming and attentive. I own a well known boutique hotel and am VERY picky, but this hotel is as good as it gets.

Should I ever return to San Sebastian, I'll stay here again! Impeccable service and tasteful decor. Though the location is not exactly central, the city is small enough that a brisk 10 min walk will lead you to the heart of the city

This place is just beautiful!! Love the vibe! Great service and close to the old city, a short taxi ou bus ride or 20 minutes walk. The room are nice and clean. The common areas fell like an old horror movie, so regal. We loved our stay there.
