I love that it's pet friendly and there's a restaurant nearby, not to mention the beach is only across the street.

Staff is really friendly. The rooms are clean. Very quiet. The restaurant/bar is nice and convenient though a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I would stay here again and highly recommended!

Property was clean safe and quiet. There was a restaurant but food was average and way over priced. We ate across the street. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again

The Lodge is located well. I did have problems with the cards for the door key. Problem was ironed out, but it was something that didn’t help the Lodge’s image.

The staff is the Best !! Luis went out of his way to accommodate me when I needed to change my reservation and gave me a great discount on my next stay. The beds are Amazing ! I slept so good. It was quiet and the other travelers I met in the restraunt were so friendly. The whole environment was just so pleasant and my ocean view was such a treat considering the economic price. I can't wait to come back !!!

Miguel-front desk moved me from 226 to 206 but those same male Hispanic teens were a problem until about 8PM anyway. Traveling public male threatened them and they shut up. Yeah! 206 wall heater quit in the middle of the night-Freezing by morning.

This hotel is run down. From the furniture to bedding and even my toilet seat was old and in need of replacement. In addition, the heater didn’t work and they knew it. They didn’t offer a room that had a working heater, I was told to use the space heater in the closet. This is privately owned and there was a lady who lives on site and scowls at you every time she sees you. I decided to check out early because my stay was not pleasant and could not receive a refund. The rates may be reasonable but completely not worth saving money.

We had 3 rooms for our group. One of us did not have hot water. One room had a foul smell but we were told they were fully booked and could not move us to a different room. We opened doors and windows and aired out the room which helped a little bit. My mini fridge did not work. The smell from the heater was terrible so I couldn't turn it on even though it was chilly at night. My key card did not work properly and I had to return to the front desk several times during my 3 day stay for my card to be reactivated so I could get into my room. The ocean view was nice but did not make up for all the negatives. We will not be staying there again.

The place looks good and parki h is wide. Friendly staff with early check in available. The ro was clean but it has bad smell until we went home. Smells too old and the heater needs to update it's noisy The hairs too old needs update. Wash the curtains that gives bad smell in the room 229. Put microwave maybe. No tea available in the basket when we arrive.

I have never been to San Simeon before this was my first getaway trip, and it was worth it. the view from our room was beautiful. You can hear the sound of the waves from the rooms. The rooms were amazingly clean and beautiful which is more than what i can say for other motels i have been to. My boyfriend drove 3 hours after work to get there and we arrived at 1am super tired, although it was late the overnight person was very kind and patient with us, which was highly appreciated considering the very long day we had. The next day, the front desk was extremely kind and carried his day with a beautiful smile. and was very helpful after we locked ourselves out of our room lol. The food at the bar and grill was amazing, the dinning area was very elegant looking, i was speachless, not used to eating in places like this. overall our stay was amazing and very peaceful. I definitly recommend for others to experiance this place. i definitly will have to revisit. Thank you for a wonderful experiance.

the room just needed a little modeling but overall i really liked the room . i also like the little patio outside our room. i have a recovering broken foot so having the bed next to the bathroom with a standup shower came in handy. i would stay there again.

Three of us stayed here. We each had our own room the place was outdated in many ways. My room was okay but carpet was old- overall clean but there was a slight musty smell. The fridge in 2nd friends room died so bday dessert was ruined. No hot water in 3rd friend's room. The ceiling insulation is terrible.... each of us heard all the walking & stomping throughout the night.... linens were clean, pillows & mattress were comfy.
