Under renovations

I specifically rented this hotel because of it's inside pool. Which is under renovation. The only area of the hotel NOT under renovations was the 1st floor. I went to use the hotel computer to cancel my second night stay only to find out the business chair at the computer desk was broken upon trying to sit on it. The computer was near dial up slow. The heater on the wall had a draft coming from under neath and above, where it attached to the wall. Maybe after it's done being renovated it will bet better but it was disappointing over all.

Okay for quick stay.

Dated, old beds, but fine for what we needed, which was to get there at 2:30 am, sleep, and leave in the morning. There's signs up saying it's becoming a Comfort Inn property so I'm guessing there'll be some refurb along with that.

Needs an "overhaul"

Hotel staff were excellent, but that couldn't make up for the worn condition of the hotel. We'd never stayed at an AmericanInn before, but it turned up at a reasonable price, plus it had a swimming pool and hot tub. Hot tub was "under repair" and appeared to have been for a LONG time. The room was way over due for an overhaul. Wall paper was ripped on the walls, carpet worn, bed was lumpy, pillows "flat", tile were coming off the wall in the bathroom, mildew around the top of the shower/tub liner. The breakfast area was cramped so they spread the food access areas down the hall. The waffle iron worked, but the timer didn't. Staff were obviously trying to keep the place as best they could, but the owners need to spend a lot of money! Won't stay there again.

not good, pool dingy dirty and ice ice cold, hot tub sauna stopped working , alarm clock and mi rowave broken , tv remote held together with tape, bed uncomfortable bathroom and tiny my wife slipped and fell in bathroom , smelled moldy in room , we left at 3 am to uncomfortable could not sleep. i want my money back
