Old motel, neatened up, over-priced

I paid just over $100, including taxes, for the room. The hotel is small, and it seems old. It's neatly kept but it's old. The halls are dark, dark, dark. There're few amenities. No work-out room. Outdoor pool. Closed for the season, which is a necessary decision. I wonder what fun it would be. It's a pool in a concrete apron on the edge of the parking lot, with little else in view. The breakfast was fine. Hot folded-over eggs, sausage, waffles (do it yourself) and the usual cold things. The lobby has tables and chairs and some high, bar-like, tables and chairs. Plenty of places to sit for breakfast for coffee, but the TV tuned to an all-commercial channel blared loudly. (I didn't ask to turn it down. Could have I guess. I was interested in what I was reading and ignored it).
Were the price lower, say $85 or $90, the hotel would be a bargain. As it is, it's OK, but priced too high.
