disappointing

Cons: everything
Location: nothing but going to cedar point
beds were to small had to pay for a cot for my grandson nothing nearby for restaurants had to drive 6 miles will never stay there again

Our primary guest is for Cedar Point, there are however a few restaurants within 1 or 2 miles right by the entrance to Cedar Point.

Cedar Point Adjacent, but Not Much Else

Pros: Location (Cedar Point), room cleanliness, continental breakfast
Cons: Wifi, separate room for the bathroom
Location: Cedar Point, and that's really it. There's nothing else to do in Sandusky, OH.
Check in and out were nice and easy and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the Wifi was completely broken in the rooms the entire time I was there (2 nights and a morning after) and the staff wasn't helpful in getting it fixed (kept saying the router needed to be reset, but it didn't help at all). Also, a quirk about the room is that the bathroom is not a separate room. It's connected to the main room by a shower that has curtains on both sides. Not a problem for someone who traveled by themselves like me, but may be an issue for a group of friends. Continental breakfast was also pretty decent with a nice selection, but you'll have to get there early if you want any of the donuts. The big positive is the proximity to Cedar Point though. Once you leave the hotel, it's literally 1 turn and you're there. Can leave 20 minutes before park opening and be in the park before it opens. So it's a great hotel if you just need somewhere to crash between going to Cedar Point, but if you want it for much else or if you leave the park early, you may find it lacking.

The hotel and room was clean. Bed comfortable. Desk staff very helpful. Close to Cedar Point.

Terrible place to stay

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer service, honoring room type, cleanliness, better internet service.
Location: Cedar Point
I checked in and went to my room only to find out they had given me an accessible room that I did NOT book. I went back to the front desk and the guy was very rude and said "are you really going to complain about this" He proceeded to tell me there were no other rooms of that type and the only difference was the shower. I went back to the room because I had prepaid for it and the carpet was gross with stains all over. The room had a bad smell. One of the pillows had a blood stain on it. The "Free Wifi"...sure it was free..It didn't even work. You could not get connected. I did not report anything else to the front desk because clearly they did not care and would not do anything about it. I have been a front desk supervisor at a hotel and know that everything about this stay was unacceptable and I should be refunded for this mess.

I will look into your room booking, sometimes all we have left is our handicap accessible room left, it has a roll in shower to accommodate the handicapped guest. I know the wifi is horrible, we signed a contract for a new system two months ago and we are still waiting for installation.

close to cedar point. clean, comfortable stay. the staff was attentive. could be little noisy depending on the guests nearby. great value for the quality.

Great location. Great breakfast. Great service. Room was great. Corridors and stairs old . No elevator. Will stay again for cedar point.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable
Cons: more than one person working the lobby for check in
Location: Cedar Point Amusement park
Found my first stay there comfortable and meeting my expectations. This 2nd time was very good also. The only thing I could possible say was that check in was a bit slow. One person working the desk around 8pm in the evening. He had to help a guest and leave the front desk. Three more parties were waiting to be checked in. I was in the lobby about a total of 20 minutes. We were also surprised to see that there was set hours on pool use now closes at 10pm. Room was very clean and smelled like it was cleaned recently. I would definitely stay there again. I did enjoy it there, parking is convenient and you can't beat the price.
