Nice hotel. Close to Cedar Point

Just a little notch in the carpet and that all that was wrong with the room. I was expecting 2 queen beds for the night and they upgraded us to a suite.

Pros: I love the sink outside the bathroom. The room was large & clean.
Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable hotel bed.

We were only at the hotel one night, but everything was fine.

10 minutes away from Cedar Point

Just got back from a short stay at La Quinta Sandusky..Very clean room, great staff, close to everything..short 10 min drive to Cedar Point park. Will definitely​ stay here again...

The staff was wonderful! We got personalized messages from housekeeping and it made us feel so welcome. The front desk recommended us an amazing restaurant that we ate at throughout our stay.

Fastest hotel check-in

Pros: Good price and location.
Cons: New pillows - my neck still hurts.
Location: Close to cedar point and a 25 minute drive to Miller Ferry.
Look - it's a La Quinta Inn in Sandusky, close to Cedar Point... it can only be so good. The hotels on this strip are heavily used during the summer, so don't expect the Ritz at any place you stay. The check-in was very fast - probably under 30 seconds. The room they sent me to was not ready, like the maids hadn't finished cleaning up. The guy at the front desk apologized, upgraded my room and walked with me to my new room to make sure it was ready. My only complaints about the room are that pillows are too big and the room i was in was close to an exit, so it was kind of loud in the a.m.

Will Stay Here Again

We like La Quinta partly because of the included breakfast buffet, but even more because of their pet-friendly policies. We do our best to reciprocate by picking up and cleaning up after our dogs. We loved this particular location because of its proximity to 3 indoor water parks, as well as Cedar Point. The facility itself was clean, modern and well maintained. The room was spacious and above average in size. In addition to the microwave and fridge, the entry area included a sleeper sofa, 2nd TV and a gas fireplace, all separated from the bath / bedroom by a heavy door. Also included were 2 queen beds, but the second door made it easy to contain our escape-artist pets with a "pet-lock", and also made it possible to bed the kids down in their own room. After they were asleep, Mom and Dad shut the door. What happened next is none of your business, but we wish more motel rooms shared a layout like this.

Clean, fair price

Pros: Clean, quite and fair price
Cons: Included breakfast was a little weak.
Location: A few casual restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Traffic not bad.
Hotel was clean and quite. Looks to have been recently refurbished.
