Someone was smoking weed & it just LINGERED in the hall. Our door was REALLY gapped, so much so that the hall light made a huge vertical line on our wall and lit up our room. We were there to sleep so it served its purpose.

Old but good.
Overall, the hotel was fine. Check in was good. The room was clean and the beds were small but comfortable. The hotel just seemed old. The hallways had old carpet and smelled musty.

We stopped here in route to Milwaukee, and again on our way back to PA. Both night stays were good. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the breakfast was nice variety of breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurt, danishes, toast, fruit, and coffee.

A wonderful surprise
For the first time in many many years I slept all the way through the night. Very nice and comfortable beds very clean I was actually shot. The only issue I had was this morning when I got up to warm up my coffee there is no microwave in the room. No refrigerator but I'm okay with that I didn't really expect it but no microwave that's the first time I've been in a hotel in many many years that had no microwave. I have to say one more time though the room is beautiful we were very shocked. I would recommend this just don't expect to microwave.

It was close by many different food options, it was not too noisy and it was quite peaceful. You didn’t hear anything during the nighttime.

Simple stay - do not expect alot
Simple stay - double beds are very small ( full size ) def not comfortable for 2 adults. Located near applebees and walmart on a restaurant strip so thats a plus Amenities are outdated. Booked 2 similar rooms - one had fridge/microwave - the other did not. Water in one room did not work efficiently as it did not get hot. Breakfast was very solid and ends right at 9, not a minute over.

The breakfast was nice, they had a few different choices. The young lady taking care of the dining area was very friendly, she offered to make the waffles for whomever wanted one.

This was a pretty crazy place to stay. On one hand, it had amazing beds and a clean desk and carpet. The shower and toilet were fully functional, so obviously that's a plus. But on the other hand, our room had a broken phone, mold in the shower, and on very special occasions working WiFi. So if you've got some important paperwork or business calls to get done and you need WiFi, don't count on it. In addition, only one device is allowed on the WiFi itself, that is if you can get it to work. So you and a friend can't be online at the same time. So I mean, I give this hotel about 2.5 stars out of 5. This was just my experience, and it does not necessarily speak for the rest of the rooms rented out at the Inn. They are understaffed, but the employees they do have are quite friendly.

Quiet, clean & comfortable. Close to Firelands Hospital and a great choice to get must needed rest while being close to your loved one in the hospital. Applebees shares the same parking lot and was easy to grab on the way back to the room. The room was extremely clean. The surroundings were quiet and the bed was the most comfortable I've had in a hotel. They also served a nice breakfast with a waffle maker and many grab and go choices. Pricing was very reasonable and it competes with higher priced locations in the area. We have been in Sandusky for days and have been trying different hotels each night. This one was the best in its price range.
