Boutique hotel in an excellent position

Posted Aug 30, 2015
Hotel Juana is the sister hotel of the much bigger Hotel Belles Rives a short walk away. Without the facilities of the Belles Rives it would be difficult to spend more than two or three days there. Small swimming pool with few sun beds for example. The hotel staff are very friendly and the public rooms are very attractive, but limited. Having arrived from a five star hotel in Italy it is difficult to accept this a five star hotel never the less very pleasant.

Se ti piace il lusso

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Personale attento e disponibile. Piscina stile "rocce naturali" con lettini a volontà e personale attento. Colazione pantagruelica .....

Grand old hotel - needs updating!

Posted Jul 19, 2015
One night stay on way back from Portofino. Upon checking in asked about upgrading our room, given an ocean "view" for 100 euro more. Could not see the sea because huge tree in the way. A/C barely functioning and it was hot. Pool & grounds in poor shape, desperately needs major maintenance! Awful mattress & outdated room decor. On the plus side, friendly staff & lovely breakfast set up & service.

Great alternative to the Cote d'Azur

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: All good.
Location: Whilst the hotel is located in Italy it is only 30 minutes drive from Monaco and an hour from Nice and Cannes.
Smashing hotel with all the trimmings for either a romantic or family break. We took a junior suite with sea views, which I can heartily recommend. Two connected rooms and two balconies, two bathrooms. The wifi really worked well all over the premises and there were even ample plug sockets (a real luxury in Italy). It is well located for sightseeing, but retains the charm of a stately hotel on the beach front. The staff and facilities were great (and much better than we are used to in France) and the price points make it even more attractive. Good restaurants and children are also well catered for (there is a kids club in the evenings and entertainment including magicians, etc). We will return.

The Royal Hotel in San Remo was wonderful

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: The decor, comfort and staff made our stay special
Cons: We can't think of anything that could be improved
Location: The location is good, in the centre of San Remo, on the sea front. We went to Monte Carlo for the day, which was a great excursion.
Our stay at the hotel was truly excellent from start to finish, my friend and i were impressed with the location, the atmosphere, comfort and attention to details.
