Bed no good, furnitures are old and bad smell, reception not easy access such phone call, noisy, I booed high floor, but reception gave me leve 3. Total, no recommended.

Although the staff was very friendly and very kind. The hotel looks very old, it needs renovation. For the amount that paid I expected something better.

Had two bedrooms no hot water at night ,dirty rooms with debris on the floor ,dust on the shelves and under beds thick crumbs In the bathroom silverfish bugs escapeing to wholes in the tails Complained to reception want to speak with manager no answer sent email to the hotel no response

A few things- construction on 7th floor was unexpected. The shower needs to be redone. The curtain is too small and the crazy powerful water sends the curtain everywhere. Poor design. Little restaurant was fine, food was ok.

Hotel was nice and clean. No free parking on site. You have to park on the street across from the hotel. The cafe / bar has excellent service and beverages but the food is OK at the best.

We found this hotel as it was the cheapest in Barcelona at that time but also it was a bit far from the center but it was ok, it’s very well connected so it’s not a problem. The hotel itself it’s very basic and very old, our room was quite small and you can clearly see it needed some maintenance and upgrading. Didn’t have very much interaction with the staff but they seemed all nice. Overall the hotel is clean and in a quiet area so it’s good if you’re looking to spend a few day in Barcelona and don’t spend a lot of money.

Public areas looked updated but rooms and carpet looked run down. Wastroom and room were relatively clean. Disappointed the air conditioner was not working so we ended up opening the window but the room was still stuffy. Luckily it was not too hot. They provided 1 queen and 2 singles which was great for a family of 4 but didn't have a lot of clearance around the room. Not sure I would return here.

We stayed here for two nights at the start of our trip and one day at the end. The only good thing about this place was the breakfast and the breakfast staff. The other staff were rude, the restaurant had no gluten free options, the room smelled and the beds creak when you move. Everything was at least a 15-20 minute cab ride away which adds up. The rooms need work, this is not a 4 star hotel.

Nice place. Did not like check in procedure - much longer than in any hotels we stayed ever! And it was very disappointed that swimming pool was closed too early - at 7pm. At other hotels we stayed pool was opened until 10pm

We booked this for our first time in Barcelona. Whilst a little way out of the centre, we really wanted the pool. For the little commute you have into the centre we found it really worthwhile. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us. All of the staff we encountered were happy and helpful. The room itself is a good size, basic but very clean and the bed was comfy! Petrol station with small shop next door, this was excellent for the basics of water, snacks and drinks. Staff in there were also happy and helpful. We will definitely be back to Barcelona and wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again. Very good value for money.

Not a 4 star property. Very old, no good breakfast for Novotel standard. We booked superior room and was given an old standard room. Showed them our booking but nothing was done. Lady at reception claimed Expedia did not give the correct picture and they don’t have superior rooms. Will not recommend

Not what i expected.
Very old fashion and thought Novotel standard was much better. The Tv was probably older than me..and unusable. Bed was flat and furniture was just outdated. Felt more like cheap budget hotel than a Novotel. Location was not the best with little food arpund and looked industrial.

Mmm… Okay but not great…
It was okay but the hotel needs attention. TV was not working - channels all snowy, only one english channel (not news). Cleanliness was questionable in both room and bathroom. Very basic but would probably not stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful where engaged.
