Pros: location
Location: beach, mountains, amusement parks, LA
Hotel is very convenient to orange county airport. Got in late and air was not on in room and no do not disturb sign. So was disturbed and when asked for a sign they couldn't find one so took one from another room. Sheets were very stiff which I was surprised as Hampton's are always so soft. Good stay other than minor inconveniences. They also charge for parking which you don't know when you book. Why not just be up front and add them to cost of room?

Got a room next to reception, too loud, you can hear phone ringing, people taklking! Could not sleep whole night

Overall the hotel was awesome and the staff was very friendly and professional. I had a suite with a jacuzzi but the juts didn't work. That was my only complaint.

Nice and close to John Wayne airport.

We had booked a room with two queen beds as there were three in our family travelling together. When we arrived to check in we were told all the rooms with two queens had been sold so they were "upgrading" us to a room with a king size bed and a pullout couch. This was not an upgrade at all.... the pullout couch mattress may as well have been a brick because it was as hard as one and therefore very very uncomfortable. My expectation when I book a room is to get what I booked and paid for. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will definitely not return there in the future. I would expect better from Hampton Inn.
