We had a large room with a fireplace and a wonderful bed. The breakfast was wonderful. I would love to go back and spend more time.

very nice hotel in walking distance to everything

Pros: location, quiet a/c, lovely decor
Cons: Hire a new restaurant manager and train the staff on customer service.
Location: Los Olivos is small and pretty much just for wine tasting. A couple of cute clothing stores and a great italian shoe store ROMP is a must see!
Room was great - very nice and quiet. Besides the squeaky bed it was quite comfortable. Only rated it a 4 because of the bad service in their restaurant. For dinner the busboy took our order (after waiting for 15 minutes) because the server was "busy" when only 2 other tables were visible. Came down at 7am for breakfast and the place was dark. Finally found busboy and he informed us he'd need another 10 minutes. Coffee was out for free but no creamer of any kind. When breakfast was served the scrambled eggs were cold and overcooked. No toast. No music/ambiance. Tried it again the next morning, waffle comes out without fruit (asked for strawberries) or whipped cream. Just plain and barely warm. One evening we ordered room service for an entree and a salad. The guy brings it up with no silverware...just the 2 plates. No ketchup for the fries. No salt/pepper. No water. I don't get it! These are simple details. How could it be so bad? So I would go there again to stay but never go to the restaurant again. It's really too bad.

Quiet, clean and easy

All good up in little Los olivos Quiet, clean, nice big room by the pool Breakfast was excellent and they found the glasses I left on the table. Recommended for anyone headed to the area

Beautiful Inn, best location

Pros: The best location in the Santa Ynez Valley. Wonderful rooms. Overall, probably the best place to stay.
Cons: The restaurant.
Location: The restaurant, SIDES, is two blocks away and it's fantastic.
Rooms are lovely and the amenities are great. The restaurant is sub par given the quality of the hotel, but there are others in walking distance, so no problem.

Will be back!

Pros: Room and bathroom!
Cons: Kitchen closed at 9 pm. Had to drive to Solvang for food. It was 9:15 pm and we were unable to get any food. Am diabetic and needed to eat.
Location: Wine Tasting!
Beautiful comfortable room and bathroom. Lobby staff very welcoming and informative.
