my wife and I stayed in two separate rooms, she in #207 and I in #105. In the room next to hers and above mine, the people there were knocking object around until after midnight when we complained to the manager. Is was bad! We could not sleep, or we would fall asleep and get wakened up in starts. After midnight, I complained to the manager who put a stop to it. We think that a certain level of refund is due us because of the aggravation.

Wonderful location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with comfy beds. A lot of parking. The only cons are noisy heater and very weak, non-reliable, Wi-Fi.

The stay at motel 6 Santa Barbara was perfect. Only one block from the beach and the water is Visa kennst from the balcony. Well maintained motel with food in a walkable distance!

I LOVED that it was so close to the beach. Very Walkable. It was easy for me to get around from that location. I did not like that there was no coffee in the room or an Iron.

We do have iron and ironing board available free of charge up on request, additionally we have a free coffee station at the front desk available each morning. Traveled with my kids. First time here. Was a little worried since it was my fist time staying here. Nice place. Handicap room was nice size. Plenty of room to get around in. Clean. No elevator but that was ok. Plenty of parking. Nice property. Just a block away from the beach. Plenty of parking along the beach also. Zoo is less than 10 minutes away. Could possibly walk to the zoo in 15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

Totally unlike most Motel 6s. Adorably appointed. Everything handy and convenient—-incredibly well thought out. Fun artwork. Very chill. Across from the ocean. GREAT PRICE esp for SB. So clean, so new. Barbie and Ken would have loved it for a BEACH TRIP. But you could hear everything from other rooms which was a real downside. They just forget about soundproofing. Sigh.

What an area to stay at ! The beach is a block away and so many places to dine and simply walking around is a treat ! I recommend staying there ! You won’t be disappointed!

Cute room. Our only complaint was the room wreaked of marijuana the whole time we were there. Almost as if someone had been smoking in our room while we were gone. It’s a safe bet that the room right below us is where it was coming from.

Our stay at the Sunshine Motel was pleasant overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. While the amenities were basic, they met our needs adequately. The only downside was some noise from neighboring rooms at times, which slightly affected our sleep quality. Nonetheless, it was a good value for the price, and we would consider staying here again in the future."

Great location. Room is small but decor is updated and very cute! Has everything you need for an overnite stay on a budget. Very clean. Staff at check in was very friendly. Tad disappointed no coffee maker in room.

Hi there, I’m not that much old, but remember good times, when something was wrong, Front Desk ( Shearon, Marriott & intourist too). Would apologies & tried to accommodate your needs. Now was different, room was facing highway ( nothing mentioned reg. that at the reviews). King of shocked and asked to move the room - facing any other direction…. And guess what - they technically have to blame me and ask additional charge ( hidden fees). What was this park of the World tern into? P.S. it’s my first visit, full of stress and inhuman robotic behaviour from stuff in General. Nothing morality has been introduced here. How is thst, plz someone explane.

Affordable and Adorable
The retro style remodel of the rooms is genius. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. The mini fridge, microwave, and Kuerig coffee machine all matched in color and fun retro style. The shower was delightful, I wished I could take it with me! Parking and check in were both easy, and the hotel is spitting distance from the beach. I would absolutely stay here again.

I hesitated before booking this Motel 6 - but was reassured after reading the positive reviews on Expedia. Here's another one! This is an excellent budget hotel that's located in a quiet, more residential area… it's not like an average Motel 6 at all !! Great shower (with good quality products), bed and decor. My room was perfect for an overnight stay or a short break in lovely Santa Barbara. Highly Recommended for value and comfort.
