Very nice placePosted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: The grounds, the lobby and the front desk people.
Cons: AC was very noisy. Rooms are very typically for business/suite type hotel.
We were skeptical pulling up because the location feels almost industrial, but the grounds and the hotel were beautiful and very peaceful. The front desk folks were fantastic. The rooms are nice - nothing special, but comfortable and adequate. With all the room in the suite, a small kitchenette would be nice. We stayed because we were going to the Santa Barbara Bowl - it's a little far for that, about $40 each way for a taxi. For an event at UCSB, it would be very convenient

Pros: Pool, spacious room and helpful staff.
Location: The restaurants recommended by the hotel are great and East beach is a must.
The Pacifica is based in Goleta which is well situated for the amazing Pacific Coast. The hotel is clean with spacious rooms and a lovely pool area.

condition of Hotel and GroundsPosted Aug 25, 2015
The rooms and the halls were less than clean. Needed Painted!! The condition of the buildings are deteriorating and the wood was rotting. All the grounds were in very bad condition. They have well water, But trees were all dying Property was unkempt.. This is a shame because It could be beautiful. Every thing needs Care!

Out dated. The pictures were deceiving.Posted Aug 18, 2015
The room had a stale smell. The toilet smelled like a gas station bathroom. Carpets were dirty and stained. The hotel needs upgrading.

Great place to unwind and relaxPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: The fact that we were looking for a peaceful place and not a tourist hotel with lots of children. We just retired and were on a two week road trip .
Cons: Other than the freeway noise at night from our room, not much.
Location: walking, bike riding and good restaurants nearby
We enjoyed the hotel amenities, staff and great breakfast selection in the morning. We enjoyed the bike trails that were very close to the hotel and the well maintained grounds. The room was very spacious and clean.

Serene and convenient to UCSB.Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Staff is very friendly and accommodating
Location: UC Santa Barbara
Attended a conference at UCSB. Short of staying on campus, this is the next best thing. If you have a rental car, it's minutes away.

Beautiful grounds, close to UCSBPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The serenity of the surrounding grounds and the comfort of the rooms.
Cons: More ice machines, they were not in every building.
Location: Not to far from UCSB or the beach. Close to shopping if you need too.
Love all the trees and flowers with some history with it! The staff was more than accommodating and breakfast was very good. Room was very comfortable.
