Close to Santa Clara University

It was close to everything but overpriced. Not enough parking spaces and most slots were good for compact sized cars.

Pros: Staff! They were great!
Cons: too loud!
Location: on the bus line
I liked everything about this place except the noise from the road. It was LOUD! The staff was wonderful. the room was very clean. It's location was okay.

Good location and good value

Pros: Price, location
Cons: The breakfast area is very small, but the layout of the motel doesn't lend itself to much improvement
Location: Reasonably close to the Great America area and downtown San Jose.
This is a traditional motel in terms of layout, room size, amenities, etc. While close to El Camino Real, it is quiet. Everything is clean and convenient. Good value for this expensive area.

Great price for a downtown location.

Great place for a downtown stay. Comfortable and quiet. Not much in the way of amenities, but not needed for my stay.

Privately-owned, but quite nice

Pros: Close to airport, college & shopping
Cons: Nada...breakfast seating maybe? I didn't need it though, so who am I to say
Location: Close to Santa Clara University, close to shopping, close to restaurants, not a bad place at all in my opinion.
Loved this place. Just needed it for one night, but it was exactly what we needed.

Nice hotel, very thin walls

Generally we had a great stay at this hotel! However, I was woken up around 5:30am by a drunk man outside my room yelling at someone on his phone. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but this wouldn't have been an issue if the walls were a little thicker or if someone on staff had been able to shoo him away.

I've been staying at the Mission Inn every few months, as my son is a student at SCU. Sometimes I save money by not renting a car, since campus is about a ten minute walk from the motel. I love the people at the motel! In fact when I was there last week, my son had trouble starting his car and one of the many lovely employees at the motel helped us with a jump from her car - - together we figured out how to do it. I'll be back again and gain. :o)

The stay was horrible we got put in the only room by the laundry room, so we were woken up by the housekeeping staff yelling and talking at 7 o clock in the morning after going to a concert the night before. The room was being remodeled but wasn't finished and had spackle covering previous holes and around the whole mirror in the living area. I payed $180 because i got the room late and they price gouge for the concert but in other circumstances i would have never payed more than $70 and even that is high but because it's santa clara it would be a decent price. I will never go back.

Close to San Jose International Airport

Pros: Close to Airport
Cons: The Television was broken
Location: In a residential area, No restaurants in area except for a Indian Curry spot.
If you are looking for a clean place to stay that is close to the airport this is it. We had a very early flight out the next morning and had to be close to the airport. This hotel dos not offer shuttle service, but they had us (a party of 5) a Mini-van taxi waiting the next morning at 4 am.
