"Interesting Hotel-Hum...."
Like I said, Interesting Hotel. Would I recommend it to a friend? Depends upon the nature of the friend. I think a better question is woul I stay there again? Answer: Yes, but it might not be my first choice--but it's a clean, quiet and comfortable choice. I Agree with other reviewers: Shower is poorly designed. I thought the complainers had never seen a typical European shower/wet room. That's not the case. The glass shower wall should be a foot wider to keep the non-drained floor from getting a soak. AC went out two days, but fixed each time. Breakfast is lovely. Room was in need of fresh paint, but clean. Bed was very comfortable, which is VERY important to me. Bottom line: I was very much at HOME at the Hotel Home Florence, but it is quirky ;-). Staff are the same. Some great- all good.
