Booked, paid, confirmed but closed for renovation

The title says it all...not happy that we weren't advised before arriving at 7pm after travelling from the east coast!

Location: Beach, pier and amusements all very close
Overall very positive and enjoyable stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel will be demolished and replaced over the next 12 months

Housekeeper was extremly rude. They were understaffed and we couldn't check in at the 3pm check in. The pictures on the site were much different from the actual ficillity. Only good thing about the place was the location

The office is closed from 10 pm to 8 am. And no body told me that if you come in after 10:00 pm you can't check in,it is very disappointing.

My Getaway to Santa Cruz

Location was great, beds looked like the blankets were just pulled up not changed. All old bedding worn. Mold growing in the bathroom. Paint peeling off the walls. No longer a pool. Smoking should be designated to areas which was not.

Pros: close to the board walk
Cons: everything
Location: across from board walk
the only thing good is its close to the board walk the bad things are its ols parking is very very very limited the tubs are not fill up its broken water pressure is very low old tv old everything

Coastview Inn was meh at best.

Not that great. Upon check in there was no parking. Our room had a half working microwave, half working fridge, and the hotel's ice machine was not working on obesity of the hottest days of the season. No view from room. Overpriced because of convenient location. Personally prefer other hotels in the area. It was not horrible. Staff was friendly and let us park our car there for several hours after checkout. Probably won't stay here again unless it was free or they were having a really good deal going.
