Founded in 1907, it is California's oldest surviving amusement park and one of the few seaside parks on the West Coast of the United States. #blue Skygliders on the Sanra Cruz Boardwalk Swingin' by chains.  The trails in LMB are not in any published trail books since it is on private land so it is only known by word of mouth, making it very uncrowded. Although it is private you are allowed to walk through the grounds and onto the trails. The loop is 6.5 miles with a wonderful moderately steep beginning section (depending on which way you go) with well spaced switchbacks. You'll be hard pressed to find an uncrowded #beach in the Santa Cruz/Capitola area but New Brighton is a must visit anyway. Beautiful sandy beach, sail boats, parasailing, volleyball, camping and a #lighthouse ! You just can't beat it. Colorful Santa Cruz😍😍 Stand up surfers paddling into the harbor. Beach Blanket of People in Santa Cruz The lighthouse, designed by Mark Mesiti-Miller and constructed by Devcon Construction, Inc., stands 41 ½ feet tall above the level of the west jetty, and 59 ½ feet above the mean low water mark. It weighs 350,000 pounds and is built to withstand a quarter million pounds of wave energy. The wharf at Seabright Beach just got to take a stroll by these beach ate when visiting any beach! Colorful Venetian Hotel in front of the beach!! not that crowded... Beach volleyball. The streets look like Paris and Venice. Snack stall. This quaint town is less crowded and more upscale than Santa Cruz and also has a pier, wharf with shopping and dining, an inlet, beach, public parks and village with residents.
