Overall, worth returning.

Hotel grounds were lovely, and staff is attentive. My flight got in early in the morning, however, and opposed to a hotel I stayed in La Paz, Bolivia that was very flexible, this hotel did make me pay a whole extra day in order to get in to the room early. The room had a little bit of a damp smell, but the pool and bar and setting were terrific.

Friendly staff (and turtle) in lovely setting.

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely grounds and pool, open air restaurants, lots of nice touches like a platter of meringues at reception. It would be good if there were a printer in the business center, but they print out behind the reception desk. There are a peacock and 2 turtles that wander the well taken care of grounds: the bigger one is Conchita and likes to have her neck gently pet. She will then follow you for more attention. Buffet breakfast has lots of offerings, and I would gladly return and recommend Los Tajibos, as well as Santa Cruz and all of Bolivia.
