Good enough for the pricePosted Nov 30, 2015
Pros: Location, hottub
Cons: Have some protein for breakfast - that's pretty much standard now for hotels when offering breakfast!
Location: Just south of downtown Santa Fe - the capitol building and shopping
Stayed one night. Room was small but clean and appreciated the fridge. The "indoor" pool and hottub were actually inside a large greenhouse which works surprisingly well. Hottub was small and without the top open was difficult to see inside with all the steam. The pool was huge and the plants gave it a nice touch. Breakfast was not good. There was not a scrap of protein anywhere - all sugar, cereal, and carbs. I thought there would be at least hard boiled eggs as there was a cooler - but none to be found. The only reason I would recommend to a friend is due to the price and it's not too far from downtown Santa Fe.

Consistently goodPosted Nov 16, 2015
I've been staying here at the Lamplighter for years. Big, clean, comfortable rooms at a very good price. All the amenities, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, refrigerator. A bit removed from The Plaza, downtown Santa Fe, but not a big deal. Large parking lot, and huge mall just south. Close to Jackalope. I'll be back.

We will be backPosted Oct 28, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is a nice cheap stop through hotel. We've stayed here and buffalo thunder every time we pass through Santa Fe. The pool, hot tub, and breakfast is phenomenal. We will be back again, thank you.

Go elsewhere.Posted Oct 25, 2015 on Hotels
If all you need is a clean room for overnight, this will do. If you ate staying awhile, go somewhere else. I was told the illy hot water was the coffee maker in the room. It was lukewarm at best. The hit tub was dirty. The testing chemicals were left out. The lobby is the playroom for the owners children. This ice machine worked intermittently. I needed to print one page from the Internet. Could not be done, with several excuses why. This used to be a sweet vacation spot. Now it is a dumpy motel.

Lots of noise from the street and the adjacent rooms. Looked like black men's shorts on the floor of the bathroom between the door and wall. A truck and construction were blocking one lane in front of the office. Dimly light sign made it hard to find a night.

Gutes Preis-LeistungsverhältnisPosted Oct 25, 2015
Pros: Schnell wärmende Heizung.
Cons: Ev. das Frühstück. Frischer Käse oder Wurst wäre nett.
Location: Ca. 10 Autominuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.
